I love Wittlebee. I have gotten 2 boxes from them. They have great customer service. The clothes are great and are new. I love that they specialize in basic pieces to help build your kids wardrobe. I have gotten american apparel, crazy8, and gap in my boxes. They are a little slow on shipping, but I think its because they didn’t expect to grow as fast as they did.

Since Wittlebee removed my Facebook review, I thought I would post on here — My Wittlebee experience has been an absolute disaster. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I purchased a Family Finds deal awhile back to get my first box. I signed up and waited for my box. Nearly a month later I hadn’t received notice it had shipped. I called repeatedly and never reached anyone. I left voicemails that were never returned. Finally, I emailed and received a response that my order had been lost (I had received an email confirmation of my order that I sent to prove I had placed an order at all). The date for my next payment to post was approaching and as I had yet to receive my first box, I wanted to cancel my membership before paying for another box — I was not able to find ANY way to do this online through my account — so I emailed and asked that my account be cancelled prior to the date of the next payment. Wittlebee responded (they do seem to be fairly good at responding to email) and assured me that may account was cancelled and I would not be charged. I just went to pay my latest credit card statement, and guess what, a $39.99 charge from Wittlebee despite having been assured my account had been cancelled and certainly not having received another box. I did finally receive my first box shortly after they ‘found’ my lost order — it was ok, nothing exciting — not worth $40 in my opinion and certainly not worth the experience I have had with Wittlebee.

Not crazy about it, I order a box for my 2 year old and some of the pieces would not fit a 10 month old! Some clothes were cute but nothing special. Will cancel it.

I received my first Wittlebee box this month and I love it. They followed my style profile perfectly. I made a few adjustments to get a little girlier stuff next month but I am super happy with this. I also like that they make it easy to suspend your box for a couple months if you have enough of one size at that time.

Meh- the clothes are a little loud/graphic for my taste (I prefer basic/solids). I got one box where you literally couldn’t put any of the tops with any of the bottoms because they all clashed. Plus, it’s pretty pricey. Customer service has been really great, though!

I have had two boxes from Wittlebee now. I must say, I really like the service. It is taking a bit to dial in exactly what I want, but their customer services has been so helpful! In my last box, I got a pair of capris that will never fit my daughter because she has very chunky thighs. I emailed customer service about noting this in my profile so I didn’t have the same problem with snug pants every month. Not only did they note my profile, they also said that they would ship a replacement in my next box, and I don’t even have to return the capris! All in all, I love this service and will continue to use it. At $5 a piece for good quality clothing (I got a Tea brand dress in my last box!!) it is a worthwhile subscription.

The quality of the clothing is awful! There is absolutely NO way the box we received was “about $100 in retail value of clothes” as promised on the wittlebee web site.

Clothing arrived with tags cut out and no store (pricing type) labels.

Disappointed and canceled membership!

Ive received one box, don’t like that there are no tags so no way of showing they are NEW clothes also the sizing was off. I said 4T top and 3T bottom and that was not followed. The only names I knew was carters and a paul frank shirt

I have received 1 box so far from Wittlebee. I purchased a 2 month deal for close to half off the full price and received my package about 10 days. One Baby Headquarters outfit I received was listed on Amazon for $25 (sale price). I got a B.T. Kids shorts set, an American Apparel tee, The Children’s place tee, a red tank dress & a pair of cotton shorts from brands I haven’t heard of. Nothing was ugly, I didn’t get anything I specifically asked not to get and the quality was a mixture. I would say my box had a retail value a bit shy of $100 but was overall fine. Wittlebee obviously buys wholesale batches of clothes and they aren’t necessarily going to have tags with a price on it so it’s ridiculous to expect that. If you love shopping & picking out every item your child wears, this service is not for you!

I love this product. A great way to stock up the dresser and closet. I may have been a bit disappointed to get a new box with 6 items but luckily I signed up in time for the 8 item box. Great brands like tea, lucas charles, Calvin klein, and Old Navy. Customer service is always great about fixing issues. I think people expect miracles from this box and you cannot please everyone but I love it. I am having a little boy which scares me when it comes to clothes since girls things are so cute but so far Wittlebee has been great. Lots of soft, cute stuff.

So I signed up for this service a few days ago. I was really excited after seeing many photos of kids opening their own boxes! ALL these photos showed 8 items, if not more. After I signed up I began to notice people asking why they were only receiving 6 items in their box. Turns out that they decided to pack only 6 items in each box after July 1st. Unlucky for me, but good for the people who signed up before, as they still will receive 8 items (or even 10!) if that was what the deal was when they signed up! So I am paying the same price as everyone else, for less items. I think that’s a bit shady! Their response to this is that they needed to reduce items in order to stay in business. I get it, but i dont think they realize how annoyed it makes new subscribers when they see pictures of boxes with 8 items, same brands, same cost, when we are only getting 6. I think they should have reduced ALL boxes, or increased the price by 5 bucks or so. Next gripe: when you keep seeing people posting $10 off coupons for this service! Maybe if they offered less coupons people could still recieve their 8 items instead of 6. Another thing i noticed is today they spotlighted a cute shirt/onsie with a giraffee on it with their Wittlebee logo printed on it. Cute, but i will be beyond angry if they throw that in my box and call it one of my 6 items. What, does it cost $1 to make that shirt/onsie?! It’s also annoying that they count a single pair of socks or a headband as one of your items! I also noticed many subscriber comments saying they had paid 3 weeks prior but still had not received their box. wittlebee’s response is “sorry, we’re backed up right now”. Understandable, but it’s frustrating to see that they are offering discounts and deals on boxes in an attempt to get more subscribers when they can’t even keep up with the subscribers they currently have! A 3 week or more shipping time is unexcusable when you are on a monthly subscription plan. You are expecting to get your next box within a week of receiving your first one? This appears to me to be a company that is growing faster than their few employees can handle. While an increase in business is wonderful, Wittlebee needs to realize that they will only KEEP their business going if they make their current subscribers happy. I’m going to try this for this month and then reconsider my subscription. It’s unfortunate they are in over their heads because I think it’s a great idea that could really take off, as long as they maintain a solid business model.

I have received my 3rd box from Wittlebee and have been super happy with the service. I had one issue where I received a duplicate item in my box and I emailed (the best way to contact customer service) and they replied promptly stating they would send a replacement in my next box which they did. They revamped their inventory to include barcodes to help eliminate duplicate items. Shipping is a little slow but well worth the wait in my opinion. My son loves opening his box to get his little sticker! I am happy with Wittlebee and will remain a customer!

I am on the fence about my first box. I signed my daughter (5yo) up for a Hipster box, with black, red, and blue as our colors. What we got was a lot of pink, and nothing I would really qualify as “Hipster”. We got one Baby Gap shirt that looks like it came from a Gap Outlet. And one Calvin Klein romper that looks like it came from a Ross. Everything else was wholesale, or cheaper brands so I’m not seeing the “$100 retail value” they advertise. I wasn’t expecting the whole box to be filled with high end clothing, but I was hoping for 1 really special piece, along with 7 basic pieces. I only absolutely hate 1 piece out of the 8 total. But I don’t love anything we received. It’s just okay, nothing I would have ever picked out myself. She really enjoyed getting the box in the mail though. And their customer service was fantastic when I had to contact them. So I am adding more specific style notes to my profile and I’m going to give them one more month.

I placed my first order on June 19th was charged immediately. Three and a half weeks later I received my box immagine my surprise when I opened the box for my newborn baby Boy and discovered a box full o f. GIRLS clothes I was very angry I contacted cs they said oh sorry well be sure the next box is correct a week later I received an email to print a return label I’ve just been billed for my second box and have never even gotten any items to use I wonder how long it will take to get a box we can actually use? This is their last chance if I don’t like the items when I finally receive a box I will cancel!

I received a box of six items. Two of the six I would actually put my child in and that is iffy.
None of the items matched the notes I left or the style profile I filled out.
I actually priced everything out online and would of been able to purchase it all for $61 currently, not that I would. While yes, that is a savings from the $39.99, it really is not savings when the two items that were acceptable I could buy online for $18. $2 shorts from Crazy 8, TJ Max sets that you can get for $9.99 does not total up to be worth the money, the time to contact a stylist or customer service every day until they figure out how to run their business and satisfy their customers. Personally I would rather spend $100 a month to get clothing that would actually be used and loved.
Save your time and money, not worth it… not one bit.

I finally got my box today after waiting 3 weeks. I received 6 items: 2 polo short sleeve shits, 1 t-shirt tank, 2 plaid shorts, and one pair of jeans. Everything was just OK. Nothing I would have really bought myself and pretty much the same thing I have seen at Walmart. The shorts were made of extremely thin material but the polo shirts were of good quality. The whole box including shipping was NOWHERE near worth $100 dollars but I did get a promotional deal. However, this will be my first and last box. I can get better deals on the clearance rack at Target! Great concept though!

If you have a girl, you may want to try out this subscription box. If you have a boy, don’t bother. The boy clothes that they put in there are for the most part neither cute nor high quality brands. None of the items are ones I would buy if I saw them at the store. Even if they were on the clearance rack! The girls clothes typically match and look really cute, but I have been consistently disappointed with my son’s clothing. And when I’ve had mistakes in my boxes, they promised to fix it but didn’t. I’m frustrated because I feel like this company was not prepared to grow the way they have. I love the idea, but I am not happy with the execution and I will not be continuing this service.

Wow after almost a month of waiting for our box I received. I know you are a new company but the public needs to know what they are getting into. Horrible customer service and clearance rack clothing from Kmart or Walmart or worse! One of my items was actually a WittleBees onesie, I will not have my child represent this company especially with an item I specifically told my stylist NOT to send ( no onesies). Second issue, I was sent a boys green tee and generic short that were way too small. Non of these items match my style preference which I went over twice with a stylist. I am not returning because frankly these cloths are not worth the postage. I will be donating them and canceling my subscription. Wow sorry all who read this!

We’ve received 4 boxes and while the 1st was great, the quality of clothing, brands and number of items have deteriorated with each shipment. Our 1st box had 10 items, included matching socks and bibs, and the outfits were so cute. The brands were Vitamins, American apparel, luca Charles and Calvin Klein. The stylist followed my requests for pink & blue. Our 2nd & 3rd boxes only had 8 items. Our 4th box arrived yesterday and I was so disappointed! I had asked for ruffled dresses or skirts and lavender, purple or pink. We received ZEBRA prints, black, white and a horrible lime green. I emailed customer service for a return label.

BUYER BEWARE! I previously posted a pretty favorable review after receiving my first box. Two of the eight pieces they sent were very large (common inconsistency in children’s clothes). I requested an exchange and was denied since I purchased a Plum District deal. Of course I had no idea that would happen since it was not listed in the “Nitty Gritty” section of the Plum District deal page when I was ordering back in June (and I read those things!). It turns out that if you use a “deal” site or flash sale type promotion they can pretty much send you whatever they have and you are stuck with it. I bit my tongue.
I recently got box #2 and it was terrible. Most of the boxes for girls are at least cute if not exactly my style, but mine was absolutely dull. I’m actually not that hard to please. Not a single high end item in the box, not a single color I selected (I listed several that we would like to have), nowhere near what my “style profile” reflects, and a few pieces of inferior quality. Again I am being told that I cannot get anything exchanged or replaced. This is a terrible policy to use on new potential subscribers.
Their website uses language like “customized” and “hand picked” by a “stylist,” but if you question the contents of your box on their Facebook page (which they can and do ban people from for starting “drama”), you are informed that it is meant to be a “grab bag” type of service. And nowadays they are straight up offering to cancel you if you express dissatisfaction. That is deception, especially when you fill out a detailed “style profile” and can leave additional notes on your account as well as email & phone chat with their stylists. They simply do not have the inventory or staff to support their concept. Some people do get great clothes (especially the mom-bloggers I have noticed), but I don’t think it’s worth the risk overall, and the people who signed up after July 1 are only getting 6 pieces per box. I’ve yet to see a 6 item box that looked like it was worth $100.
I was really rooting for them, but the clothes just aren’t consistent. Some boxes contain multiple brand name items, but most don’t (I never received anything that could be considered a high end brand). The service is not what they say it is and of the 16 pieces I paid for I can realistically use less than half. So much for the great deal!

This is my second review, I posted one for my first box above. I received my second box today and I am very disappointed. I doubt my daughter will wear anything in this box outside. One item was a duplicate that I can’t exchange since that would involve spending another $40 on next months box to get the replacement; I almost wonder if they do that on purpose. Nothing in the box coordinates except the PJ set we received. I’m okay with those since they are PJ’s, and don’t really matter. I got the Wittlebee giraffe T-shirt which is cute, but I cannot believe they count that as an item. My daughter will be wearing it to bed. I got a pair of shorts that are extremely cheap. There are several threads dangling from the hems, and they are made from a scratchy cheap material. I got a laughing giraffe dress that is OK, but the one I got last month shrank so much that it is now unwearable, and I am confident in saying this one will do the same. I got a pair of American Apparel leggings, and a American Apparel shirt that are acceptable. I may get use out of them if I can find something to match. They are both brown, but clashing shades of brown. All and all after research this box is worth about $60, same as my box last month. It’s just not worth it since again, I would have never picked any of this out for her myself. Do yourself a favor and buy your kids clothing yourself. I can ONLY see this service working if you live in a rural area, and have extremely limited options. But honestly, I could have found cuter clothing for less $ at Walmart or Target. So to recap, we basically received 3 sets of PJ’s, one useless duplicate, and one pair of shorts that will be donated to Goodwill. Thanks for nothing Wittlebee.

I quit this service after 1 month, I got 1 out 6 items for my daughter the her and I actually liked. The items were not very good brands and seemed very cheaply made. Shipping also took a very long time, and customer service is also laking. Also they now only give 6 products instead of 8, and the quality is definitely not worth it.

Buyer BEWARE , I am starting to think this wittlebee company is VERY money hungry . I have been a subscriber for 2 months for my son , Well 2 days ago I check my bank account and there was a $12 wittlebee charge , this morning I check my account and there is a $39.99 charge …..They gave me none of my credits what so ever for referring people . My last box , a couple of my shirts were ripped , so the stylist said okay I will give u a $10 credit, Ya , where is my credit ….I have Called and called , Emailed and emailed , Left over 20 voice-mails and noone gets back to you , but they will take more money outta your account then they are suppose to and the clothes are no where near the price they say ….This is a good company if your rich and want to contribute to someone , but they are taking extra money outta my account for nothing what so ever …I will NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE ever again ……Not to mention by the time you get your box , your charged right away again for another box

We have gotten two boxes so far and loved them! There is a range of quality in the clothes that we got ranging from brands I was unfamiliar with to Kenneth Cole, Carters and others that I love. For 8 items, they need to be worth $5 per item to be a good value, and they certainly were for us. Sure some are cheap, but I wouldn’t expect many $40 items when I’m only paying $5 per item. I love the convenience of not needing to shop for my youngest child and the fact that he gets some cute clothes and not all hand me downs. We have suspended our subscription as he has plenty of clothes right now but plan to resub when he grows into his next size. I had a phone call with a customer service representative and she was very helpful.

I received my first box yesterday. My daughter loved everything because she loves all clothes BUT I was a bit disappointed. When I first saw the giraffe t-shirt with the wittlebee logo I thought it was like a welcome gift but then realized it was part of the 6 items. Not cool!!! I requested clothes in pink, yellow, or lavender and I got a dress that was dark green with some weird patterns, burgandy leggings (the only “designer” item – Tea), a very cheap quality dress in navy and fuchsia, a t-shirt which was cute but cheap, and pants that were also very cheap quality that I would never have purchased. I don’t think the “sytlist” read anything I requested. It wasn’t anything I would consider “princess style” or even remotely that cute.
I googled some of the brands that I received and some could not be found anywhere, another was only found on zulily, and another was on some consignment website. Anyway, I am disappointed with the quality of the clothes and definitely do not think it is worth $40.00. They have a great idea but are not living up to their advertisements. I also had to follow-up on my order because it says on the website that it will be sent out in 7 to 10 days and at 10 days I emailed them because I hadn’t received a shipment confirmation. They responded a couple days later saying the boxes are sent out within 2 weeks, not exactly what the website advertises.
I was considering giving it another shot with a 2nd box but after reading all negative comments I don’t think i”ll waste my money. Let’s see if they give me a hard time about cancelling.

I was so excited to sign up for this service. It looked awesome, great clothes, great price with coupons, great reviews. I received my first box and was very disappointed, nothing was the right size, the colors were wrong, and ALL of the clothing were of very poor quality. I emailed customer service and they said they would send out replacement items with my next box. At that time I went in and added VERY detailed notes for the stylist. What sizes, colors, themes, etc. I know this is a grab bag service and I was NOT specific in my requests (I was not asking for specific clothing others had got, just mainly requested dresses for my daughter that has a small waist and skirts, shorts, etc generally do not work well for us). I got my second box with replacement items and it was even worse than the first box and my replacement items were some of the same items I had requested to be replaced. I emailed customer service and nicely explained what happened, I never got a response. I then posted my issue on their facebook account and my account was then cancelled, my money refunded. I posted to them that this was not what I wanted, I wanted the same quality of clothes others have received and posted on their facebook page. I was then banned from their facebook page and my comments deleted. I know now why you can’t find bad reviews on their page, they delete them and ban them. My mom then posted asking why I was deleted and banned and they replied to her that I was a “bad apple” and a old customer that was causing drama, they then deleted her question/comments and then banned her as well. I started a facebook page where people can go and post their reviews of the wittlebee company honestly without the fear of being deleted and banned, http://www.facebook.com/WittlebeeReviewsFromCustomers. I REALLY wanted to like this company and use their service but they don’t care about their customers. I wish I could give this page 0 stars. Also on a recent shopping trip to Ross, it was like I was walking through Wittlebee’s store room. I saw some of the items I received in my box at Ross, as part of sets. They are buying sets from discount stores and breaking them up into single pieces. No way are any of their clothes near $100 retail.

I love Wittlebee, I subscribe for both my kids and definitely think I get much cuter stuff in my daughter’s box than in my sons…but that’s just the difference between boys and girls clothes. I did have one hiccup when I received my daughters first box. I asked for no tank tops and clothes for “chilly nights” kind of weather and received 3 tank tops and no leggings or anything for a chilly night. I contacted customer service and they were on top of it immediately. They offered to include some extra leggings in my next box and asked that I donate any items I didn’t want locally. I just received my daughter’s second box and not only did they include the leggings but the box also included some of the most adorable stuff I’ve ever seen. I was simply ecstatic with this box; it included items from Tea Collection, US Polo Assn, Crazy8, Kicky Pants (softest shirt ever!), Luca Charles, and Calvin Klein. I will say it takes too long to ship, turn around should be much quicker…but I’m willing to put up with it because of how great the service is. And, can you imagine how excited my 3 year old is to get a box in the mail just for him? Not to mention that it’s full of clothes with dinosaurs, trucks, monkeys, etc. What 3 year old wouldn’t flip?

I really wanted to like wittlebee. Love the concept….not the quality. You see fabulous good quality clothes with name brand labels posted on their facebook page and website. However, you do not get these items in your box. You get no name very bad quality items……not near as nice as target brands. I really do not even know where to get clothes as bad as what has come in my boxes. Don’t spend $40 per month….you can get much better quality clothing for the same amount of money…. It doesn’t save time because you have to deal with all the “issues” that come along with wittlebee. They run specials on plum district and gumhouse to get new customers while they have many customers who are unhappy. They do not need to be gaining new customers until they can get control of the many issues they have right now with quality and customer service…

This is a great service but there may be a month or two during the year that I put my subscription on hold as they really do fill up your wardrobe! I recommend talking at length to the stylist and putting notes on your page every month. Customer service is very responsive and they make good on any items that you receive that don’t “work” for your needs. I have received at least 7 boxes now and although I see many complaints about shipping speed, when I looked at my account, my box has shipped out on exactly the same day almost every month. I takes usually 2 or 3 days to reach me all the way on the other coast. I consider that fairly efficient. I highly recommend trying this one out!

I think it’s a bit juvenile that people assume that since you had a different experience and have a different opinion that you must be the owner of the company posting fake positive reviews. Or, on the other end of the spectrum, assume the same angry customer is posting multiple negative reviews. It is possible that different people have different opinions and there is really no need to get nasty when you disagree. This is a review site, not a place to waste your time arguing with each other.

I’ve had a total of 4 boxes from Wittlebee and have loved almost everything I’ve received. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect that everything you receive from a grab bag service (even if there is a style profile) will be something you would pick out yourself. If you want that you should be shopping online at TCP, Old Navy, etc. not asking someone to pick them out for you. As for poor customer service, that has not been my experience. There are times when they take a couple days to answer or you can’t get a hold of them right away but they are a brand new company that is growing extremely fast, if you would rather deal with an established company that has already worked out those kinks then, again, you should be shopping online at TCP, etc.

If I could give Wittlebee a 0 star rating I would.

I received my first (and now only) box from Wittlebee this week. I’m happy that I didn’t pay full price for this box (I had a special for 50% off). The box wasn’t even worth what I paid for it. The sleeper we received is poorly made. The fabric is rough and one leg is bigger than the other. One of the items has a stain on it. I requested winter items and received 90% summer. I emailed the company to try and get a resolution on the clothing issue and to possibly cancel my membership. They did not address the issues with the clothing but went ahead and canceled my membership. Don’t waste your money on this company!!!!

I have been a member of Wittlebee for about 7 months now. My first box was a semi-disaster and I figured out that I gave my stylist too many specifics and tight parameters. They immediately sent me a return label to return the box and my new box arrived within the week. I loved it. All my subsequent boxes have been great. I have had to receive 2 replacement items (one for an item the wrong size and one for a repeat item). I love that some of their basic dresses were adorable for summer and will look just as cute layered over leggings for the fall. I tweak my style some months and add comments each month as well. We received a bathing suit this summer that became my favorite on my daughter. That I did not expect. My box ships within 2 weeks of my billing date each month. This is overall a very fun subscription service in my opinion.

Im done. This service just doesn’t live up to the hype. The clothes are cheap and they refuse to accept them as a return saying this is a grab bag service. I had 3 boxes and never recieved anything special… No Tea Collection, etc. I canceled. It’s just not worth it and who needs clothes every month that are cheap and won’t be worn anyway?

I received my first box and was exactly what I expected. Good quality clothes that are great for everyday wear to school or playground. They did send me exactly what I asked for. Over all great customer service and good quality clothes. Will be keeping this service for a while.
For those of you who did not receive what you wanted from the first try, you should leave them a feedback and I am certain the next box will be exactly what you anticipated, communication is the key.

I was SO excited to try this service…got my first box yesterday with a $10 promotional coupon…so $29.99 for 6 items. I ordered for my son who is age 4, and asked for size 5 clothing. I asked for long sleeves and pants..”chilly weather” items…with graphics animals/trucks/sporty clothing.
HERE is what I got!
1. A Wittlebee T-Shirt so my son can advertise for the company.
2. A pair of plain blue sweatpants..size 6
3. A plain red t – shirt
4. A pair of size 6 cargo shorts
5. A shirt which reads “ocean pacific”
6. A shirt which reads “warrior poet”
Most of the items are the brand “Kids” … what is this?

This box was not even worth the 29.99 I paid. I am so disappointed. Like I said, I wanted to love it…but…the clothes are terrible. Style profile not followed. Sizes not followed…emailed customer services yesterday….no response. Plan to cancel.

I love wittlebee! We have received two boxes so far an my 3 year old loves every piece in them, except one. This month we got a pair of jean shorts that looked like they were for boys. The pieces she has received so far have been of high quality and cute style – they are almost all something i would pick out,but not normally purchased due to the price tag in stores! Both boxes have been full of boutique brands a.d the fit and washing has been great. We live in Hawaii so have asked for only summer clothes and that is exactly what we have received. I am thrilled with the selections and the cost.\

I have been with Wittlebee from the start (January ’12) and have witnessed the growth and improvement of their clothing. My daughter LOVES to get her Wittlebee box and has really enjoyed most of the clothing. No service is going to be perfect, especially when it is brand new. I think Wittlebee is definitely worth a try for busy parents that are NOT extraordinarily picky about colors or brands in their box and are open to receiving a bit of a surprise – which I think may be the most fun part about it. I love being exposed to quality brands that I would not have known about otherwise. I would definitely recommend this service to those parents who are more laid back about choices of clothing. For those parents that are very picky or particular about colors, brands, fabrics and do not enjoy a surprise here and there- then, you may not enjoy the service.

I have gotten 4 boxes , well my last box i got i need to return it due to the clothes being CHEEP and poorly made ! well i mailed it to them and they sign for it on the 10 they kept it for 21 days , i then emailed them 2 times got nothing then when i said id be doing charge backs then i get something from them saying i have no notes nothing hummm well funny i got a pic to prove it sent it back to them , well i sent it to them before they closed my membership well they refuse to replace anything so i will be doing charge backs on all my boxes , this is a fake company the clothes do not come up to or go over $50.00 !!!!! their customer service oh don’t get me started they do not return your calls or bother to answer the phone , never again fake fake

I was very happy with the box that just arrived at our house. All sizes and styles met my criteria; the clothes were cute and high quality (not designer or very high end, but well made clothes appropriate for play – brands included American Apparel, Tiny Whales, Babywear and JazzyToes. Based on a quick search, I think this box would add up to about $85 before tax when you add everything up for full retail price – so not $100 worth of clothes, but more than 1/2 off before taxes. The clothes shipped quickly ) – I placed my order on the 5th and they were here by the 10th. I’ve added some detail to my style notes for next time and am looking forward to the next box. I have recommended the service to friends and family based on my experience, which I hardly ever do.

I just received my first box and have already cancelled. This concept is really cute. The clothes are great quality and adorable. However, they shipped mostly summer colors/styles/weights and we are now entering fall. The items were also sized way too big. I guess the good news is that my daughter should be able to wear most of it next summer! But that doesn’t help her current needs.

I think if they do a little tweaking – they’ll have a great business.

My friend and I both signed up for Wittlebee and we were both completely unhappy with what we received. I had selected tops (long sleeve and short sleeve) and pants, hearts and polka dots. I received 2 cotton sundresses and a t-shirt with an elephant on it. I live in Wisconsin and it is the middle of September.

Per their website, they hand select your items based on preference and geographical location. The 2 dresses (which I never selected as an option) are completely useless to me. My girl will not be able to wear them next summer.

I sent them an email not only to cancel my account but provided feedback as to why I was canceling. I received back a standard, “sorry to see you go, your account has been canceled.” Nothing addressing my concerns.

My friend was also unhappy with receiving 2 summer dresses in her box, she sent them an email saying she was disappointed and feels Wittlebee is just pawing off last season’s clothes. She received back the SAME email.

Sorry, but the fact that 1/ 3 of the clothes are useless for the season, the quality is no better than what I could have gotten at Kohl’s, and typically with a 30% off coupon, I would have been able to purchase double, if not triple, the amount of clothes for the same price.

I do not recommend using them not only because of the clothes issue but because your feedback and input is not listened to or valued.

I went into this experience with an open mind, easy to please, and I gave this company every benefit of the doubt. I received 4 boxes, and the quality diminished with each one. The company didn’t honor size/season requests, even though I gave them multiple options that would work for me (size x if winter clothes, size y if summer, etc.). I asked for no clothes with vehicles and got a shirt with a bus and a shirt with a motorcycle in the same box. I didn’t get a single high-quality item/brand. One box had a hand-wash only shirt for a baby, another had a plain white shirt that is touted as absorbing moisture and reducing smell, again for a baby. Clothes were cut weirdly, didn’t fit style or color preferences, and overall seemed like bargain bin junk.

Some of my friends subscribed before the Wittlebee boom and were much happier with their experience, so I have to assume the company couldn’t keep up with demand.

Customer service was nonexistent for myself and some friends. Boxes not shipped, wrong gender clothing, etc. The company deletes any unfavorable reviews on their Facebook page.

Do NOT waste your money until some major changes are made.

I asked for “chilly nights” items and my first box included mostly tank tops/short-sleeves/shorts. I contacted customer service and was told that they were still “clearing out” their summer inventory and my next box would include more fall items. Well #1: “clearing out” should not be part of your business model. That is why stores have clearance SALES. You do not provide a customer with something other than what they are paying for and asking for and then tell them it’s because you have to unload inventory. That is unacceptable.
The next box arrived and it included shorts, and two short-sleeved t-shirts. I was told that they could not replace the items or refund because I purchased a PlumDistrict deal. This was not part of the “fine print” when I did so and I’m incredibly frustrated. I now have clothes that are useless for my 3 month old! I was told I should have used the “speak to a stylist” option, but I provided good notes and I fail to see how one should have to explain that to them, “chilly nights” means no pale pink shorts and t-shirts!

I have been a Wittlebee customer for some time now, receiving 7 boxes and a summer myster grab bag. Most items we have got from our boxes are now favorites however they have sent me leggings in summer and sleeveless in fall. I started ordering up a size to ensure items would fit in the correct seasons. There have been a few problems along the way and they are not always willing to send replacements (I have had to send pictures of an item that was damaged to prove it). Overall it is worth a try and you might get lucky if you are willing to get a surprise box of clothes. If you are too picky, you have better luck shopping on your own. Tried this and so far very disappointed. Going to try one more month. I signed up for my daughter who is 4 and asked for cooler weather clothes and polka dots. I got all short sleeves very plain and when i complained it took 5 emails, 2 phone calls and a facebook post which they removed to get a response. I will try one more month but if its not lots better it will get cancelled. I got no polka dots at all and nothing matched. It was not worth what i paid for at all. i also signed up for my little boy who is 7 months old…his box was a little better than hers but still nothing matched and it should not mean when u say chilly to get all short sleeved stuff. and it should definitely not take 2 weeks and 2 calls and 5 emails and FB post to get response from customer service.

It took about 3 1/2 weeks for my 1st box to arrive. I was NOT pleased with the quality at all. 2 of the T-shirts were nice. Only 1 of the pieces of clothing was the colors that we listed as my son’s “favorite colors”. 1 shirt was a thin white Wittlebee advertising shirt, 2 other shirts had decent graphics on them, The 4th shirt was a plain off-shade of red with nothing on it (I could buy a better looking shirt at Walmart for under $3). They sent a tight fitting pair of sweatpants that were terrible. The wasteline was super skinny & the legs were extra, extra long. The sweatpants seemed like factory rejects & they won’t fit any kid that I know. The 4th shirt was a yellowed looking shirt with old looking graphics on it. It looked like it had been stored in an attic for a while & everything began to “yellow” with age. This may have been the way it was intended to look, but I don’t like it at all. Probably another store item that didn’t sell. I cancelled my service immediately & didn’t have any problems doing so. I was very disappointed.

I love Wittlebee. With my first box I didn’t ask for a call from the stylist and didn’t write any specific notes and was pretty pleased with it. The 2nd time around I decided to go with a call from the stylist to see if it improved my box quality and it came with “blah” clothing but I accepted it because my daughter wasn’t complaining about…she loves any clothes. My 3rd box which came yesterday was sent by using the notes I had given the stylist and I’ll admit is/was a pretty awesome box with items from Tea & MulberriBush.
For $39.99 plus free shipping it is NOT a bad deal. I just wouldn’t recommend talking with a stylist and just jot down your own likes & dislikes.

I have posted once before and had mostly good things to say about this company. I have seen a major decline in customer service. I was never given a replacement item as promised that was their fault for sending. I was then sent the wrong size clothes and was sent brands I specifically asked not for since they run small. I have one more box that I will let go through since I have $30 in referral credits but if the box doesn’t meet my expectations I will HAVE to cancel. I love the idea and most of the brands(I just don’t get the ones I want). I had 2 accounts and cancelled one already because everything I asked for or asked not for was just a waste of my time to write. When I called customer service they seemed not to care. I had thought it was too many picky people posting negative comments to facebook but when a company has to take out the feature of comments because it is all negative that is a sign something is going wrong. I hope they can get it together I would hate for them to end but there needs to be IMPROVEMENT!.

I have been a Wittlebee subscriber for several months. Overall, I am quite pleased. Have there been items that I wasn’t super excited about? Yes. Did I expect this from a service such as this? Definitely. If you go into this with an open mind and are fairly easy going and open to new brands and styles, you will probably be pleased. If you are super picky or if you child is hard to fit or has special needs, then it’s probably best to simply do your own shopping. I will say that shipping can be a bit slow sometimes, but it’s worth it to me to get a fun surprise in the mail. My child definitely isn’t going naked because of it. Don’t let all of the negative nellies deter you if you’d like to try it. My suggestion is to join when there is a promo and see how it goes. You can cancel at any time. I think the promo right now is that you get the first box for $15. That’s the cost of one pair of jeans on sale…if you aren’t pleased then cancel. Simple as that. Some people go into this expecting a personal shopping experience and that’s just not what it’s meant to be.

We love Wittlebee! We’ve been customers for over 5 months and every box we’ve received has been awesome. We’ve gotten a great mix of high end brands, and great staples. Brands we’ve received include: Tea Collection, Warrior Poet, Tiny Whales, Gioberti, Calvin Klein, Crazy 8 (owned by gymboree), American Apparel, Wes n’ Willy and some others. Stylists have done a great job matching my preferences. Also, there are lots of special ‘buys’ for subscribers. I was able to order a 90.00 dollar Tea Collection reversible faux fur vest for my daughter for 19.99 on one of those special buys. We love Wittlebee!

I have received Wittebee for seven months now. In the beginning I had a few problems with defected clothes and CS was very helpful at fixing what was wrong. Once I was ready to receive fall clothes I was still sent summer clothes. The last box I received had 2 items that were too small, 1 item that was giant, an outfit that I hate, and one pair of leggings that I like. I as only able to send back the items that were not the right size. So I am stuck with the ugly outfit. I sent back the 3 wrong sized outfits and was told that I have to buy another box from them in order to get replacements. At this point in time I don’t want to buy from them again. They owe me 3 items that I have paid for but I am supposed to stay a customer to get them. Something is wrong with this policy… I have already paid for these items. It’s not my fault they sent me clothes that don’t fit.

Initially Wittlebee had good customer service…..left a voice mail and never received a call back. Finally someone responded to my two emails a week later with no help at all. The nice brand name clothing that is advertised on facebook did not come in my boxes….no name terrible quality like “teddy boom” and skinny jeans without labels for my 4 year old boy….where in the USA do 4 yr old boys wear no name skinny jeans….not in the deep south. really wanted this to work out…..go buy 4 nice items yourself instead of getting 8 items you will NEVER let your child wear….

I bought a 3-month subscription for my kids and grandkids and I have to say that EVERYBODY absolutely loved it. My kids were happy to be free from shopping for a few months and my grandkids love getting a surprise in the mail every month. Think I’ll sign up for the 6 month or 12 month gift for Christmas.

I paid $39 for a 2-month subscription from Groupon and after receiving my first box last month, I am a little on the fence on how I feel. I was super excited to receive the box of clothes and ended up being somewhat disappointed. I had gotten a lot of basic, plain onesies/t-shirts, which I am sure had something to do with what I selected in my choices. However, when I added up the value of the products, it definitely did not come up to $100. I don’t even think it came up to half that. I want to love this service so much, but for $40 a month, it’s kind of hard to justify it right now. I will wait for October’s box to really get a better idea!

I dk about Wittlebee…I ordered a box 5 days ago and immediately after ordering I realized I needed to make a change to my order. I emailed sent the stylist notes and posted on their facebook asking some one to please contact me. The first post I put on their Facebook wall was deleted and ignored. SO rude! I posted again a few hours later and finally some one emailed me and informed me it was too late since my box was already in the packing stage. I don’t see how this is my fault when I my attepts at communication went ignored for 5 days. We’ll see how the box turns out, I won’t hesitate to return it if I see fit…I’m not impressed with customer service at all. It’s got to be the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

I have been a Wittlebee member for 4 months and love it! I write detailed notes and talk to a stylist and they have gotten my son’s style down to a tee! Every month there is a shirt that has a graphic that my son likes (soccer ball, airplane, trains or dinosaurs) that totally makes my son’s day. The clothes are all high quality and well made. My most recent box was valued at well over $100. I had 2 Tea collection shirts, 3 Mulberribush shirts, and 1 American Apparel shirt. My son loves getting their boxes.

I am so frustrated with this service. They have sent me the wrong size of clothes and quite honestly the ugliest dress I’ve ever seen. I am so disappointed because I started out loving this service but it seems that it grew too big too fast. The last box I got had summer clothing and I specifically told the stylist that it was cold here (we are in Minnesota). Sleeveless dresses and too-small short sleeved shirts are what I got. They really were an awesome company when they were just starting out.

My favorite part about Wittlebee is that I find out about brands I didn’t even know existed. It’s like Birchbox for kids clothes! We most recently discovered Lately Lily, and now my daughter can’t get enough of those clothes. She gets soooo excited every month and screams TIME FOR THE BEES TIME FOR THE BEES.

I received an email coupon and decided to try Wittlebee. I was a little apprehensive to pay full price, but I thought it was worth a gamble at $19.99. I just got my first box, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I was NOT disappointed with the clothes (except a Wittlebee T-shirt…what?!), but with the sizes/seasons. I requested long-sleeved shirts and pants in size 3T. Of the six pieces (which were all cute and good quality) FOUR were a size 4T/4. TWO pieces were short-sleeved T-shirts. The Calvin Klein jeans were a 3T, but are so huge my son won’t be able to wear them for months–they are not adjustable. So, in order to save time and aggravation by subscribing to this service, my son got ONE shirt that he can wear now…defeating the purpose of placing the order in the first place. I will save the clothes; maybe he can wear them NEXT fall. But, it looks like it’s bye bye Wittlebee for us. I gave customer service three stars, but I did not deal with them…so maybe I can edit later if need be.

The bottom line is that it is just too expensive for what you get and it doesn’t save you any time or money over shopping sales on the internet.

I’d be happy to pay $40 per month for a box of clothing that we could use. But in reality, of the 3 boxes I have received, we’ve only been able to use about 1/3 of what they have sent. They send sleeveless items and shorts to MN in September, many items are UGLY clearance rack items (I received a couple w/ original tags attached that demonstrate this), they don’t pay attention to your preferences, and they send incorrect sizes and duplicates.

I stuck with it and gave them a chance to improve the service because they used to be good at making it right. When I asked to return a few items from my last box (sleeveless in MN in September), they required me to pay return shipping. I was told that they would cover shipping only if the items were the wrong size or gender and suggested that I layer a sleeveless dress over leggings and a long sleeve top. Of course those items weren’t included, so now I have to go shopping anyway. So much for saving some time.

Wittlebee refuses to talk to me and has blocked me from even calling them and I am just trying to get my replacement items. I have been nothing but nice about it and they are holding a grudge becuase I shared proof that they were trying to switch people to 6 items right after Sean assured us no one that was currently 8 items would be. They are being shady and sneaky and doing their very best to remove anything negative so no one knows what is really going on.

I’ve just learned that the company aggressively censors everything in an attempt to keep new customers from hearing about all of the poor reviews. If you look a little more carefully, you find many, many unhappy former customers.

I just got my first Wittlebee box. I got a special price and paid $25. The verdict? It was definitley worth it. I got 6 items for my little boy. I LOVED 3 of them. 1 I hated. And the other 2 were just okay.
Unfortunately, the price for any subsequent boxes will go up to $40. I don’t think it was worth $40. The quality of the items was very good. I do believe that the items have a much higher retail value… but for me that price is just too much for clothes you might like.
If I made more money, I would get it every month because its so fun to be surprised… but on a budget, I’m going to have to pass.

I too have been one that has been banned from posting or commenting on their Facebook page! Apparently being a paying customer means nothing to them, I have the right to my opinion while most times it’s bad, sometimes it’s good. I have emailed them multiple times with no response as to a reason why I got banned. I have been waiting on a box billed 9/27 that is still processing, I am also waiting on a replacement box for a box full of ugly I got in September after being on hold for 3 mo this. Sometimes it seems as if they favor certain customers that always get good product in their boxes and others, like me, get the left over ugly crap! They always have the same excuse, that they have low inventory… How is it that it’s the same excuse for size 3T girl, EVERY SINGLE WEEK!! you would think that they would have figured out some way to resolve this issue by now! I want to like this service as we love the surprise in the mail, but it is all going to depend on these boxes I am waiting on! So we shall see….

They ask you the questionnaire in the beginning about your “style preferences.” I asked for only long sleeved plain shirts the 1st box for fall in Boston in Sept and got a box with all but one short sleeve. The 2nd box, I again asked for all long sleeve plain shirts and got 2 flannel pants (which literally look like PJ’s but are pants,) a short sleeve shirt, a sleeveless hoodie, and 2 long sleeves with big pictures of things on them.

If they want to send you whatever they have in stock, then don’t have people spend their time on style preferences and style notes.

One of the boxes is 1 month late as well due to all the issues they are having and no apologies at all from them or any care to make the customer feel like they care. When I called CS and said it’s a month late and how the other box was completely off, and there was silence on the other end, and I said “hello?” CS rep (Kristin) replied “I’m still here. I just don’t know what do you want me to do? Harp on it?” Very bizarre!

The box and packaging are really cute, and it’s always nicely put together!

I so wanted to like this company. The convenience, the cute logo and I love surprises and my kiddo does too! However, they just couldn’t get it right. Working with customer service on returns was a total pain and that was after trying to reach them by phone and by email. They finally contacted me after I posted on their FB page. They also bill for your box and then take weeks to finally get it to you. I have cancelled my subscription. It seems like they don’t really read the notes and I can get some of these same outfits at the carters store right near my home. If I am going to the carters store to shop, I know I can get WAY more than 6 items for 39.99 if I shop sale/clearance items along with using their 20% off codes plus frequent shopper card. I walk out of their with bags full. Save your money!

Myself and my kids love their Wittlebee boxes. We get two boxes a month in different sizes and I have been very pleased with the clothes. We get a great mix of designer pieces and basics. I love the ease of getting a monthly delivery that comes addressed to my boys who love to open the boxes, play with the bee stickers and choose their new favorite outfit. We have had a few hiccups but we got quick friendly responses from the staff when I emailed them. Shipping times do seem to vary but even that isn’t so bad as dragging three boys under 5 out clothes shopping.

Wittlebee is such a rip off! The price is much too high for what you get. And don’t be fooled by the high item count – socks and underwear count toward that. Shipping is incredibly slow and even if you special request certain clothing types, you will still end up with things you don’t want/need, like mismatched socks and underwear that seems several sizes too small. You can just about anywhere else and spend the same amount of money and walk away with 1-2 full outfits that actually match, are the right size, and are seasonally appropriate without the headache of Wittlebee.

They are not honest.

They send clearance rack or flawed merchandise.

They are unable to send seasonally appropriate clothing.

It can be a month after you are billed before you received the product, but they lead you to believe that it will only be about 2 weeks. Babies grow too fast for this kind of delay.

And they affirmatively attempt to hid and conceal all of less than entirely positive reviews of their service.

I was not surprised to learn that they have a very bad rating from the Better Business Bureau.

My first box came today. Asked for NO pink items, got one plain pink long sleeve shirt, a pink leggings and a patterned romper with pink in it. Asked for fall colors and got a plum t-shirt, which I did like since I had asked for various fabrics and textures. I also don’t think they take the time to check your requests/comments.
Also received a grey legging and a red heart sleeveless shirt brand is Wittlbee, and it is made in Vietnan – polyester/cotton blend fabric. Not a pleasant feeling fabric.
Plus the two leggings although it says 18-24m, was too small and the romper says 24m was way too big to wear anytime soon.
I paid $40 for 2 months though a plumdistrict deal. Will probably cancel after my 2nd box.

I have been a customer since June. I have received some really nice things that I love and I have received some horrible things that I wouldn’t make my dog wear. Unfortunately, most of the items I did like fell apart or shrunk after a couple washes. (I wash on cold delicate and dry on low heat). I have been one of the lucky ones that was able to return things for replacements on WB’s dime, but having to return anything at all goes against the whole concept of being easy and hassle-free. Shipping times are SLOW and there are always delays due to low inventory or moving. They also changed their shipping carrier to FedEx SmartPost this month, so now it will take even longer. I really wanted to love WB, but I’m going to cancel once my referral credits run out. I’m also embarrassed that I referred anyone, since they all were disappointed and have already cancelled.

I’ve been a member of Wittlebee since may and at first i really loved them i got a nice selection of clothes the first two months but it has went down hill from there the quality of the clothes has gotten poor except for one nice piece you may our may not get. They don’t pay attention to the notes you leave them anymore at least that’s what it seems like to me since they have repeatedly sent me styles or colors i have specifically asked not to receive. The shipping time is horrible 4 out of the 7 boxes i have received have taken a month or more to get to me. The customer service is absolutely appalling it’s extremely difficult to get get ahold of anybody and when you actually do get in contact with someone the majority of then are ride. I’ve stayed with Wittlebee for the past few months hoping they would get better but they haven’t they’ve gotten progressively worse. Once i receive the box I’m waiting on I’m canceling my membership with Wittlebee

I asked for boys clothes and specified colors and sizes. I got none of the colors I specified and the sizes were very off. I asked for cars and trucks theme, I got guitars and stripes. Everything was VERY basic and boring, I had got it for my sons birthday. I sent it back right away and a month and 13 days after they received the box back I still have nothing. I sure hope I’m impressed when I get it. I did get a box for my baby girl, I got 6-9 month clothes and she was only 3 months, it all fit her for a few weeks and she is tiny. I got another box for her and I ordered stuff for when she is over 12 months so I can pull it out as it fits her, it was much cuter stuff too. Overall I’m not impressed. Nothing is worth over $5 in my opinion, it’s all basic, basic stuff and only 1 brand in my boxes so far would be considered high endish. I’m canceling my subscription unless they make amends somehow. Heck I don’t even need my sons box I’m waiting for anymore because I went out and bought him clothes, the box was for his birthday over 1.5 months ago anyway. I really wanted to like it, it is a fun idea.

I really wanted to love Wittlebee. In fact I did at first. My first few boxes were totally awesome and spot-on. But I have had to return the last FOUR boxes because they are sending me things I specifically tell them we don’t use/wear. I can’t spend $40 on clothing we won’t use. The stylist notes were meant so people could give a few details about their child and clothing preferences. I’m pretty laid back and easy-to-please. I loved the surprise factor but it doesn’t make sense to spend that much if it isn’t something useful and appropriate. It didn’t seem to matter if I was vague or super specific; I don’t think anyone read my notes. So after having to send fourth-box-in-a-row back I canceled. Not only that but it would take about a month to get the box after paying for it. And finally my gripe is that they went from 8 items to 6 (with quality declining, too, it seemed). They told us that members subscribed before the switch would still get 8 but they started sending me 6 plain, boring items recently. It is *really* difficult to see people on Facebook uploading pictures of their children in the same exact size and style I am asking for but I am not getting it.

I wrote a review a month ago about my first month’s box and how I was on the fence after receiving it. After receiving my 2nd box and 3rd (my boyfriend’s account), I have come to the conclusion that it is not worth the $40/month and I will be canceling. For the 3rd box in a row, I received most plain clothing (i.e. black t-shirt, blue pants, etc) and was not impressed. I still don’t believe that any of the boxes I have received equal $100. At first I liked this concept and the element of surprise. I put my account on hold for a couple of months while they got their act together in order to send people fall items instead of summer items during the month of September and I asked for another box for October. They charged me at the beginning of October and I have yet to receive my box. It has been 6 weeks now and I have not received the October box yet. They have all sorts of excuses and lines to make people believe that their box is packing and/or shipping and it is getting old. I agree with the posters above stating that the clothes are not worth it. A lot of the items they send are last years patterns and/or items that are already on the manufacturers website for really cheap, i.e. less than $5.00. I have liked a couple of pieces of clothes that I received but it is not worth it for this type of hassle that they put you through. Once I receive my box I will be cancelling my account.

At first I thought this service was great, my first box came super early and had some good quality essentials that I could definitely use. My next box was to be sent around October 13th, I was billed on October 10th. I waited and waited and waited, I finally e-mailed them and got a response about them moving and that they were sending boxes out the next day, well that was great except it wasn’t MY box that got sent the next day. Then I got a mass e-mail saying that they are behind from moving, blah blah blah. Still no box two months after I received my first box and a month after billing. I understand that things happen, but #1 don’t take my money and then not give me my product #2 I would appreciate a heads up rather than an apology. They obviously have poor business practices. After over 2 months of not having my next box I cancelled and went on a search to make up for the fall/winter clothes my daughter needed. Very disappointed.

Well, I’m a little mixed on Wittlebee. I looked up reviews of “real life” boxes to make sure it looked like something I would like for my daughter. I got the Plum District deal, so basically I get two months for half price, so I am not paying much. That said, I am still a little disappointed. If you order through a deal website like Plum District, you are sort of a second class citizen! Regular customers get to send pieces back if they don’t fit or if you don’t like them…but there is a disclaimer that all sales are final, basically, for people who subscribe through a special offer. That seems terribly wrong to me, as I should be treated just the same in order to keep me on at full price! It also makes me suspect that the clothing I’m getting is their second-tier as well. It was good enough quality and decent brands (save one outfit, but it was cute so that’s fine) but I requested no onesies and no short sleeves and I recieved both in my box. :( No returns means I’m stuck. I was thinking of suspending my membership to try again in the spring, but I’m just going to get my second box and then cancel, just in case this company goes under!

I bought wittle bee for my niece. The first box was good I received a total of six items the second box was questionable once again I got six items however, I got a shirt that was 12 months and I told them she was 18 to 24 months. I emailed them and they sent me a email and told my to print out the return label and she would get a extra item in the next box. Not only did she not get a replacement item the clothes in the box did not even add up to 100 dollars they were awful and I told them that I wanted the princess box this was not clothes I would let my dog were. All in all you would do better going to old navy or the gap and get something on sale and a better quality than what they did.

My experience with Wittlebee has been beyond miserable. I would never, ever recommend them to anybody. They’re a terrible company who way over promises and under delivers. I bought a box with a slight coupon to try them out, my box cost around $25. It took them an entire MONTH to ship it. It seems they offered a few too many deals and couldn’t keep up with the demand. Once I actually GOT my box (only after much complaining on their Facebook page) I was not shocked to find that the box was full of cheap, ugly garbage. My box was supposed to be for a 2T girl and my stylist notes said this: “Colors: Black, gray, red, purple pink. Style: Modern, cool, edgy, rock and roll. PLEASE no yellow, green, orange, princess, diva, butterfly, etc. Thanks!! :)” What I got was an ugly basic gray shirt (with a tiny neckhole, Wittlebee brand), a size 3-6 mo green and blue star onesie, a pair of white and a pair of black standard leggings from some brand I never heard of (Strawberry), a horrible pair of pink velour pants with ruffles and flowers at the ankles, and a pair of pink/peach striped ‘organic’ pants. The only half way decent things were the black and white leggings and if I am going to get basics like that, then I am just going to buy them at Carters or Children’s Place on sale for $5!!

On top of this, when I posted that I was unhappy with my box on their FB page.. they deleted it, claiming I swore (I did not). Then when I posted going.. ‘You deleted my message?’ They deleted THAT TOO. I tried to call and of course, there was no answer. WORST. COMPANY. EVER. DO NOT BUY!!!

We received our first box today, after waiting over a month for it. I understand that they were moving last month, so I was fine with the long wait time. My daughter and I were disappointed her first box, the clothes were too basic, one American Apparel basic black t shirt is all we can salvage. I cancelled our subscription, and was not asked any questions.

YUCK. I tried Wittlebee for once month in the spring. I specified that we lived in a rainy climate, but received a tank top and a short set for my son. The short set had Ross Dress for Less tags still on it and was incredibly poorly made. There was also a pair of pants and a onesie from American Apparel, which were the only things that we were able to use.

I canceled as I didn’t feel it was worth my money. I received an email offer to resubscribe at a discounted rate a month or so ago and I thought I’d give it another go. The redemption instructions were confusing, so I emailed customer service asking how to redeem the offer and never heard anything back.

I would absolutely NOT recommend this service to a friend. I signed up for this service last month and never received a confirmation as to when my box would ship. All of a sudden, a box arrived on my doorstep. I opened it and found 3 gray items – all Wittlebee brand. One was a long sleeve shirt, one was a onesie (seriously, 18-24 month old onesies?!), and one was a pair of gray pants. I also received a black pair of leggings and a teal colored pair of leggings – stra.berry brand (never heard of that brand either). The last thing in there was a Sage Creek Organics purple pair of pants – with hearts on each butt cheek. I tried posting a picture of the clothes from my box and my review of them on their Facebook page, but it was deleted immediately. I guess they only want good reviews on their Facebook page. I cancelled my membership this morning, explaining that I was “highly dissatisfied with what was in my box.” The person that helped me didn’t seem to care or rectify the situation. Too bad. The idea is a great one, but sadly it failed in my opinion. I will never be ordering from them again.

This company is awful. They have awful customer service, they dont ship for weeks at a time after you pay, this would not be okay with any other company so I do not understand why it is okay for Wittlebee to wait six weeks to ship your box and in the meantime charge you for another one. The clothes are seconds of the real company that are mishapen and have strings and stuff hanging off. They do not ship nearly eve the 40 dollars worth of clothing you paid. They do not anwser the phone and take a week to answer back emails, and if you enquire or write anything whatsoever bad on their facebook page they delete it and keep you from being able to past at all. Do not waste your money, and do not go to their facebook page for reveiws as they delete all of the bad ones.

If only I had seen these reviews before I purchased a voucher for Wittlebee… We finally received our first box after 6 weeks of waiting. We asked for size 5 long sleeved shirts and pants in brights or pastels. We live close to Boston and our current temp is 30 degrees. What we received was a *stained* Wittlebee t-shirt (dark spot right in the center), a second t-shirt that is literally paper thin and 2 sizes too small, a thin pair of cropped dark gray leggings, an absolutely hideous pair of neon pink polar bear leggings in size 6 with the inseam falling apart, one long sleeve pink shirt, and one dark navy blue 3/4 sleeve shirt. In all, we’re able to use the long sleeved pink shirt and maybe the navy blue shirt with a sweater over it. Obviously the quality of the items provided is fair to poor at best and the attention (or is it inattention) to the “style profile” you create is negligible. Of note, the pink shirt was the only item with a traceable, “name brand” label – and this is the only item that fit our “style profile”.
As other posters have stated, the customer service is nonexistent. I can not find anyone to assist me with the damaged/defective items I received. Phones go unanswered and emails are not returned. Is this because I used a Plum District voucher to purchase my box?Hard to know for sure. What I can say for sure is that Wittlebee has taken full advantage of the hard-working folks who unknowingly wasted their money on an intentionally inferior product.

Well, I ordered my first box in early October, got it early November, and was highly disappointed. The only request I checked off in my sign up was skirts and dresses and yet I didn’t get one skirt or dress. I got a box of really cheap, really thin basics (4 pairs of leggings/sweatpants and 2 plain shirts). All solids and boring. Maybe I could’ve used them for pajamas, but I was mad they ignored the one thing I asked for in the box sign up, so I called them that day to complain. To be fair, they did send me a free return label for me to make an exchange, but my account is still listed as processing the new box a month later. This is the slowest subscription service and they clearly didn’t read my account settings. You’d think they’d try to make a good impression on the first box to keep customers around for a second. Hopefully my replacement box will have something better in it and at least one dress or skirt, but regardless, I’m canceling.

Absolute disappointment.

Had a great first box experience with very specific stylist notes left. But the subsequent boxes were absolute disasters as they reorganized their warehouses. Customer service blamed me for sending the wrong clothing, telling me it was “impossible” to adhere to my request of “NO PINK” and “no dresses” for a girls box. That was a lie since its quite possible– my first box contained no pink or dresses and was perfect according to my gender neutral clothing requirements. I was IN LOVE with my first box. Second and third box contained virtually nothing I could use and had to be returned. Clothing was great quality but they didn’t adhere to the “stylist” concept they say their business is based on.

Customer service was absolutely horrible. They say 1-2 days to respond. I waited 12 days with 2 days in between for followup emails with no response from them. I filed a credit card fraud report and a negative review with BBB. When they did respond, they said they would send a return label…which I never received.

My review on Facebook was deleted and I was blocked from commenting on any of their posts as well.

We started Wittlebee in August and have been more than pleased with each box! The only problem we had was a duplicate item and their customer service team responded promptly with a return label…problem solved!
I don’t think the company was expecting to grow so very quickly and, unfortunately, some people are very displeased with them. I stand behind the company and their products and will continue to do so!

This company has horrible practices, SEAN the owner called someone at midnight cursing because of a privately started review group. What kind of business does that? He has fake Facebook profiles to spy on other people. I would not trust this company with your information. They also canceled all accounts in the group, and it was just a review group with both good and bad reviews, if you can not take the heat dont do shady business. Give your money elsewhere.

worst customer service ever!!! I purchased a plumsteal so I got two months discounted. First box was great, spot on, it did take over a month to get here though. Second box had THREE duplicate items from the previous month. Wittlebee no longer can be reached by phone so my options were live chat (which is no longer available) or e-mail. I live chatted and was told to send back my 3 items with the prepaid postage and since I paused my account for Dec. (sean asked all members too), I would get my replacements sent out right away. Well after waiting a week I still had not recieved any form of communication about my replacements. I inquired via email about this and I got a response saying they no longer offer replacement items, but would credit my wittleebee account $10 dollars for the inconvience. Seriously!? I was beyond mad. When I emailed back saying I would just like the replacement items and to close my account, they closed my account and refuse to give me my replacement items or a credit to my credit card. I then texted the CEO of the company and he texted back saying he is not responding to texts in the month of december and to write customer service via email. Worst experience ever. Everything seems so fishy (not being able to call, no replacements, their $1 clothing warehouse sale, Yep this company is definately going under.

I was excited to try this to get clothes for my 2 year old son. I love buying clothes for him, usually from gap kids, h&m, etc. I was highly disappointed with the style & quality of the items in the box. I immediately canceled the box that day. They did not follow any of the “style” profile questions asked. I received 3 low quality items from calvin klein that I could have purchased at Ross for less then $15 all together, and a couple onesies, and a pair of american apparel baggy sweatpants. Not only were they low quality (except for the american apparel), but also not stylish in any way. I would never dress my child in these items to leave the house. He has worn 1 onesie, and the sweatpants to bed. The rest I donated. Also, why would I want to put my 2 year old in a onesie (unless its for bed/nap??) ? I would not recommend this box to any parent who is particular about their childs wardrobe because you will most likely be disappointed. I can not say how the girls items are, but hopefully they are better then the boys.

Don’t waste your money. I have been a wittlebee customer since April when I bought a Groupon and I loved it. The clothes were cute, they shipped fast and everything was high quality. But they quickly went downhill. Now my boxes are all leggings and awful ugly pieces or outfits that i would never put my kid in. Half the box is “Wittlebee” brand clothing that seriously I could fit into some of the 3T tops. I would rather spend $40 at old navy, get some cute stuff of the same quality that actually fits and get twice as many pieces. My last box i was fed up with so i emailed them telling them how disappointed i was and why each piece sucked. They emailed me back telling me that the boxes are going out late so I should pause my subscription. Uh what, did anyone even read my email? Basically that was my response, so they finally did read it and told me to ship it back, which I did. I just got the replacement box which was even worse then the one i sent back. it had the same sh*t in it, wittlebee brand clothes, leggings and the ugliest outfit i have ever seen. I am cancelling today.

I only received 2 boxes and canceled immediately. Even after I read the post from here I figured that I should give them a try because each person’s experience is different. I got my first box and the items were “ehhhh” I didn’t like 2 of the shirts I got and really didn’t understand why my son received long sleeves considering we live in Hawaii and he rarely wears them. They did have a swapgroup on FB where you can swap/sell the items to other Wittlebee members which i was able to..sell them.

So I got my second box and by then had read A LOT of negative things from other members thru their wittlebee app; many had not received their boxes after several months and were charged; many of their packages were marked pending or no tracking number given. They were in the process of moving so their customer service was only available via email. Well I just had a bad feeling in my stomach about the whole way they were running their operations and decided that I was going to cancel. Well that was a pain in the a$$. In my second box, everything was good except they gave me mismatched sizes for one outfit. I emailed their customer service NO response for a week! I had to go on their facebook and mention that I was not happy and did not understand why no one responded. Well within 24 hours their CEO replied and assured someone would get with me…yea after an additional week. By then I had sent 2 emails within 3 weeks. So someone replied and provided me a return slip, I then requested to cancel my subscription which they were able to do. But a day later another email came and stated that my replacement would be sent in my next subscription box. WHOA wait…no I canceled. So I sent an email asking if they would be able to send the correct size without sending in a box because I canceled and did not want my card to be charged. Again, I waited another week before a response that merely said my card would be credited back within 5-7 business days. Yea I’m checking on that for sure… needless to say. I would NOT recommend this company. Their customer service is awful and it just seems shady.

I thought this was such an awesome idea, but was not in my budget. When a Plum District deal came along to get 2 months for the price of one, I snatched it up. I’m not sure if their site still says this or not, but when I ordered the site said shipping was 7-10 days after order. My first box shipped in 2 weeks. The items in my first box were really great. I got 2 Rabbit Moon items, 2 organic shirts that were plain but cute, and an adorable Bon Bebe outfit. They were all the right size, within my style requests, and my daughter wore them all. Shortly after, I started to see more negative reviews, noticed posts from unhappy customers were being deleted from their FB page, they made an announcement that people should pause their December box due to delays, they started a swap group, they started a review site with “real” reviews that’s all way too positive, etc. This all seemed weird, but I was still hopeful that my December box would match November, even if it was late. As expected, it took quite a while to ship. IT WAS AWFUL! I updated my daughter’s size well in advance and even specifically put a note in to the stylist with her weight and height, but THREE OF SIX items were too small. Every single item in the box was plain and cheap. 2 onesies were “Wittlbee brand”, 2 pairs of cheap leggings that didn’t match anything else in the box, a Laughing Giraffe onesie (which I know to be wholesale and cheap), and a Threadless t-shirt that had the tag VISIBLY cut out and had a Wittlebee logo stamped on the inside, like they were trying to re-brand it. There was not a single item in this box that was even worth the $6 per item that they are so proud of. It was pitiful and I’m so glad I only did 2 months. I would never renew unless there was an entire company makeover. I have a feeling they’re just going to continue to lose customers as they continue to go downhill. So disappointed.

Trying this service cost me extra time and money, the two things they promise to save. I wish I could share a photo of the box I received. The items are cheap, mismatched, and UGLY.

– I’ve spent more time trying to deal with customer service to correct their mistakes, than I would have spent shopping online.

– My box contained 6 items. We will use 1 outfit that is currently on sale for $14. I paid $40 for my box. Other items are mismatched and very outfit specific and we can’t use them unless I spend a lot of time and a fortune shopping for the matching tops . It’s funny – I’ve seen photos of other peoples boxes that contain the pieces that should have gone with my mismatched leggings.

The bottom line is that even if you are very flexible about style, Wittlebee’s boxes just don’t deliver enough value for the money. And Wittlebee is a mess of a company that just can’t seem to deliver what they promise and can not even seem to return messages, which happens to be the only way to contact them.

I’m now going to try to cancel my account with them for the 4th time! If they ignore me again, I’m just going to have to cancel my credit card.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. The first box I received was okay quality, everything was tagged 24months but the sizes of each piece varied more like 6months-4T, each brand in the box was way off from the “norm” 24 months. I decided to update my sons size to 2T on my account in hopes the next box would be better. The second box I received had duplicate long sleeve basic shirts in gray (which also came in my first box) So I had 3 of the same shirt, all of which were so small they looked like they would fit a 6-9month old yet they were marked 2T. So I then logged into my account again and sent the “stylist” a message saying that these basic T’s are way too small, but the other items I received are way too big. My third box had more of these basic gray long sleeve shirts in a 2T but the other clothes were all size 3T! Mind you, my account still said 2T. Then I noticed one of the Wittlebee brand Tshirts in the box was actually a girls shirt with ruffles (I have a boy) After receiving this box I had had enough. I kept hoping for cute stuff because my sister had received some adorable clothes for my niece but it just never happened. When I tried to cancel my account the site had no links or phone number to contact to cancel, just to pause your subscription for up to 3 months. So I paused it until January 25, 2013. Then on December 23, 2012 I noticed Wittlebee had charged my debit account $40. So I sent customer service an email about the error. Waited 2 days, no response. Sent another email, waited 2 days, no response. Sent a 3rd email, this time threatening to contact the police and my bank and received an email that day saying “Sorry, you’ll be credited back the $40″ but no explanation about why I kept receiving the same shirt, why the sizes were all over the place, or why I got a girls shirt. The clothing was also not worth $40 in any of my boxes, just cheap American Apparel basics and crap quality unknown brands (including Wittlebees own brand)

I signed up for Wittlebee back when they were able to handle the demand around beginning of 2012. The boxes used to be great. Very stylish and very unique. Then everything just went downhill. Starting from my 5th box, I kept getting the same items (very cheap quality) and the shipping time is about one month after they charged my credit card. If you noticed the review, the top review (the oldest) one was great and down at he bottom, it got worse. They are getting too big to handle the demand and all of their services levels just deteriorate. I canceled my membership last month.

I thought the concept was amazing when I first heard of it and eagerly awaited our first box (which was AWESOME but contained damaged and too small items). While they replaced the two items, I had to purchase another box for my replacement items to come. Second box had duplicates in it this time. Again, they offered to replace them but again, I had to purchase another box in order to get the items that I’ve already paid for.

Finally, my December box came, WITHOUT the replacements that I had been promised. Come to find out they changed their “policy” and were no longer honoring replacement requests. And even though they sent the wrong sizes and didn’t follow the stylist notes, they refuse to make that right either.

Wittlebee has a Better Business Bureau rating of an F and they’ve failed to respond to my BBB complaint. I am filing a chargeback with my credit card company and will also be filing a fraud complaint with the Attorney General’s office.

They no longer allow negative posts on their facebook page and actively ban people who have legitimate complaints. Their phone lines are disconnected and their email customer service is horrendous.

Buyer beware, you are throwing away your money.

I have been getting 2 monthly boxes from Wittlebee for about 8 months now. The first 2 months were pretty decent and then the quality went downhill. I would be lucky to get 1 item per month that was near to the style preferences I requested. I contacted the company’s customer service via email, and personal letter with no response back. I had returned items and received zero replacements or credit. Again I contacted the company – no response. I paused my membership and I even posted on their Facebook page under a post with similar complaints and within 2 minutes of my post the entire posting including other customer feedback was deleted and Wittlebee disabled my ability to post on their FB page. I then checked my email to see if they had bothered to acknowledge my earlier email and what do you know I got an email stating my membership had been cancelled. I am appalled at the lack of customer attention and lack of customer service. I would never reccomend this company to anyone!! Wittlebee is about getting your monthly payment and not delivering quality! I would give them a negative customer service rating if I could

I have been a WB customer for a year now (feb 2012). Admittedly their service and quality is no where near where it used to be. In the last year (12 boxes). I have had only a couple that I think are truly worth the $40. I continue the serve solely because my son absolutely loves opening his box every month. One day a month is like Christmas for him (he typically gets his book club book on or around the same day as his WB box). The new $6 shipping charge that will start in May for current members has left me looking for a new clothing service. I’m, honestly not having any luck and am considering kiwi-crate instead of clothing. I’d be happy to pay $46 for a box of clothing if I felt they were worth the $46. As it stands right now I have received mre Paul Frank ugly monkey shirts then any one household needs, even after requesting no more. And I’ve now been waiting a month for my January (2013) box. They have had my $40 for a month now, but I’m yet to receive my box because they’re out of stock for boys toddler items, which I only found out after emailing about my order taking seemingly forever to process. I was also advised to pause my subscription for a month. I was a once very happy WB customer that is HIGHLY disappointed in the direction this company has gone. No one wants to pay $40, for a companies ugly cheap self branded crap.

I’ve had a mixed experience with Wittlebee. I’ve received a few items that I really liked and it was so much fun to get a box every month.

But, I received many more items that were not okay. I’ve received several damaged items, a stained item, sleeveless items in the winter, items that I specifically asked them not to send, items that were the wrong size….

In the end, I canceled because I found I was paying for the surprise but not actually being able to use much of the clothing. I’m left with 2 dresses that I would have purchased and a pile of plain items to drop off at good will. Those two dresses have cost me $160.

I wanted to love Wittlebee. I bought myself a three month gift subscription that I was so excited to use and was left wanting my time and my $100 back.

First, the clothing was unattractive and the quality was lacking. These are not items that Tea Collection or Carters, for example, would be selling at their websites this year (or ever). Not even close. The color combinations in the box overall and even in individual items are plain ugly. In three months of subscriptions, I received 5 (out of 18 items) that are too ugly for me to even suck up and dress my son in at all period. They are weird – think several shirts that are navy, baby blue and maroon stripes. In that three month time frame, I received 2 sets of exact duplicates of t-shirts I would not have looked twice at in a store.

Second, I have a long and lean 19 month old son. I mentioned this in the ‘note’ section to the stylist. I ordered 2Ts hoping/knowing that he would grow into things. The fits of the items that they sent are so random. The pants that they shipped are labeled 2T but they are too short & too big in the waist. The shirts’ sizing is all over the board. Some are already too small, some fit right now and some are huge.

Thirdly, when I contacted customer service about 4 duplicate items I received and a billing in discrepancy, they completely ignored my complaint about the duplicates and told me I was billed correctly. I will be taking that matter up with VISA directly. I did not even bring up my dissatisfaction with many of the items in general or my issues with the sizing.

Out of 18 clothing items, I would have bought 5 of them had I seen them in a store. I am so disappointed with this service. I truly wanted to love this company. I had eyed them for months before bitting the bullet and giving it a try. I feel cheated out of $120 and ignored.

A nightmare! Months have gone by and still no box..because they don’t stock enough toddler clothes..yet they are happy to charge you for an unfulfilled order. This is the gripe of about half of their subscribers. Very stressful trying to keep up on being billed..not receiving boxes and trying to contact customer service. Agh! Good luck! BTW I did get a box once and the clothes are butt..tried to exchange on their on their swap board that THEY set up because they don’t want returns.

After not receiving my box over a month after ordering I posted an inquiry on their Facebook wall and a day after 6 people liked it and 4 people commented similar issues they deleted my post and blocked me! Lol only after threatening reporting them to the Better Business Bureau did I finally receive a shipping notification. Let’s see if I actually get anything and the quality of what I receive. If I loved the clothes I would still not deal with such a shady company.

Wittlebee charged me $39.99 and send 3 cheap t-shirts IN A POLYPACK instead of 6 items. After several emails I decided to post on their Facebook and guess what? They removed every single post. Then I receive a comment from them saying I don’t need to post 10 times on their page, and like a predictable teenager blocked me from commenting anymore.
My credit card claim is underway, and I am going to ship their 3 items back. Do not waste your money.

I’ve been with Wittlebee for over a year now. They’ve had some hiccups in meeting demands but have recently made some awesome changes to their services including allowing subscribers to select some of the items that will be included in the months box as well as skipping a month if you want to. I’m currently participating in a beta program where they split a box between my two daughters and we receive a 10 item box for $75/mo. That price point sounds a bit high but when I’ve priced items from designers and retail websites our most recent March box would have retailed for $207. That is sooo worth it to this full-time working mom because I definitely don’t enjoy shopping with a 2 and 4 year old in tow. Customer service has always been fabulous for us, changing sizes, exchanging items. Worth a try if you like high fashion items without the hassle or having to shop for them yourself.

I was really excited to try out this service but sadly ended my subscription after just 1 box. I live in AZ and it is well into the 90s now, I had fun clicking on the things we were interested in and I specifically left out long sleeves because of the weather here. When it came to pick out my 3 items, they were literally half long sleeve shirts, the other half being heavy corduroy dresses. I had to pick out and ugly T-shirt, a diaper cover, and leggings because they were the only 3 choices I had that would be appropriate for the climate here. When I got my box I had more disappointments. I was sent another ugly T-shirt and then a surprisingly cute outfit, but it was a long sleeve shirt and heavy pants! There was just nothing I could do with anything I received! We are using the two ugly shirts as PJ tops and I’ll be forced to gift the cute outfit later in the year to a baby who will hopefully be big enough to use it this winter. It also took 2 weeks and 3 emails to get customer service to respond to my requests to cancel my account. Completely unacceptable in my opinion!

***The two shirts we received had the tags CUT OUT! What is that about?? It is like I was getting used or returned clothing! There is no excuse for a company to send out clothing that isn’t in new condition, when they advertise their product as NEW! I am not the only one who has received clothing with the tags cut out either, I really wish I would have read the reviews here before buying a subscription here. Totally not worth it!

I loved the idea of Wittlebee. Not having to take my 2 & 3 year old clothes shopping. Execution of the service is poor though. I received my first box, and it was okay. Of the six items, a couple were just plain t-shirts. We use them for under shirts, but seems high for the price I am paying for a box. Second box had items that were the wrong size, and for size 4T had a shirt with buttons on the shoulders (link infant clothing). Not going to fly with my “big boy”. I put my subscription on hold to give me some time to decide if I wanted to continue, and was still charged without a box being sent. That made up my mind, and when calling to cancel (not easy to do), I was given credit for the two charges for boxes I was never shipped. Well, a couple months later the charges began again. Be aware that even after you cancel, watch your bill, because charges come back.

When I joined a year and a half ago it was great. It is not at all anymore. You only get 6 items vs. 8 now, you have to pay for shipping now, and the quality of clothes has gone way down hill. I requested short sleeve shirts and I got long sleeve. You can pick items you want now, I didn’t get what I picked. Customer service is terrible. It is not worth $40, maybe $20. I can get a lot more on my own for $40. So so disappointed in what they have become.

I initially loved the service and got one for each one of my boys, referred my sister and cousin. I started getting duplicate items, wrong sizes, and not so impressive styles. Emailing, return labels, post office….this service was not saving me time.I kept trying with them thinking it’ll get better bc they were growing so fast, but broke it for me was the RUDE customer service I received. Very disappointed. I eyed this box for a bit and jumped at the chance to get it at a discount. They did a promo on their facebook and I managed to get a box for $10. Score, right? Wrong! I am still mad I paid $10 for that box. I ordered 3T and got a pair of 4T sweatpants that I am sure were for girls (I have a boy). The 3T sweatshirt and I am SURE was a mislabeled 4T and it was cut all wrong. The arms were way long and the length of the body was way short. I got a pair of hideous green plaid pants that looked like a pair of my husband’s pajama pants. The only usable items were 2 T shirts. I only use them because I did pay money for this box and didn’t want everything to be a complete waste. They are not my style at all. It’s like they didn’t even listen to me and just sent whatever. Just bad bad bad!

I try nearly every subscription service because my 1 and 2 year old sons make shopping a complete nightmare. However, I am awaiting my 3rd box from Wittlebee and this is one box I would not recommend to anyone. Spare yourself the drama and just stock up on sizes the next time you find a good sale online or at BabyGap. The clothes are nothing special and in my 2nd box I even got GIRLS items even though I specified boy. Seriously?! Yes, the clothes are name brand but they are the ugliest prints that are left over and no one wants (for boys at least). Now, I did look at the girls choices and there are many more options…still don’t think its worth it until they work out the kinks. I’m waiting for my next box to cancel.

They made unauthorized charges to the credit card of a friend I referred. They sent her more boxes when they were not supposed too (and charged for them of course). They even charged her credit card and sent additional boxes after she closed her account.

Love wittlebee. I’ve been a member for almost a year and have received only one box that I didn’t like. They paid for me to ship it back and replaced it with a perfect box. There is a newer system in place now as well a shipping fee of $5.95. The boxes are at there best they have ever been!! My past 3 boxes have been stupendous! And the members only Instagram sales are a steal, outfits for $12 and tees for $8 both shipping included. I have made a high end wardrobe for very little. I highly recommend there service but if you are a picky control freak don’t do it. It is still a grab bag service and not meant for everyone. I have no plans of leaving them anytime soon. (Reasons for 4 stars- Shipping speed can be a little slow but in recent months has drastically improved. Customer service is great but there is no contact phone number, all inquiries have to be done via email.)

I have been a subscriber of Wittlebee for quite some time and I keep waiting for them to “get their act together” but they never have. Their customer service has never been great but now it is NON-EXISTENT. They now prohibit anyone who has EVER posted any kind of a neutral or negative comment on their FB page from posting ANYTHING AT ALL. They will NOT credit or refund ANY item. I received a size 12 month shirt in my 18-24 month box and they wouldn’t do ANYTHING – no credit and no replacement. They will charge you card and ship a month after the charge and the slow packing/processing and shipping never changes. They are now offering a “Showroom” feature that allows you to choose up to 3 items for your box but so far I have only seen graphic T-Shirts and sweatpants available in my sons size (I prefer polo style shirts and neither of my kids wear sweatpants). They RARELY if ever send matching set of anything. In the beginning they offered 8 items then they took 2 away and only sent 6 items – now they are charging for shipping and sending only 6 items that are a much lower quality and value than they used to be. I’m so tired of waiting for this company to get their act together it’s pathetic. Instead of getting better, they are getting worse – such a shame since it was a great concept. I am fed up with this company. I just got my “Showroom” selection option this month but after I get my box I am canceling my subscription and will tell everyone I know that this is NOT worth the cost and frustration!

I was a big fan of Wittlebee at the start. We got some very nice items along with some basics and it seemed to be worth the cost. However, I just canceled our subscription after a year of service. The quality of the clothes has gone down and the cost is pretty high. For the same amount I can go and get things that I really love, rather than things I sort-of like. I think the concept was great, but they just out grew their concept. Not sure there is a way to sustain the quality for the price.

Unhappy, I had a similar experience!!! Only my first order I got in a timely manner and it was just OK. Nothing exciting. Could have found clothes a their quality at Target, but I only paid $14 so I wasn’t too upset. Last month, 3/22/13, to be exact, I was charged and I guess had forgotten about my account, so I emailed and asked that my account be cancelled. A quick email reply told me that they would cancel my account and to either return the shipment for a different size or keep it. So I kept it, I paid $39.99 for it, NOT WORTH $39.99. But whatever, I learned my lesson. Today I just got an email saying my order had been prepared and I was charged $45.98!!!!! I thought my account was going to be cancelled!!! I am pissed to say the least! Can’t find a valid phone number, emailed and begged them not to ship, to refund me, and CANCEL my account. We will see what happens

It was a December box, and it arrived in January :( Then everything in the box was the wrong size, and nothing was the style I requested.They agreed to let me return it and they would ship another one…I got the replacement box in February. The clothes were nice but not the colors and styles I wanted. I have a girl but it looked like boyish cloths. It took customer servic FOREVER to answer my emails. After reading these reviews, I don’t feel so bad now. At first, I loved WittleBee but I did realize some of the clothes were really cheap, especially the WB branded items, but I overlooked those because of the inclusion of the designer items. The clothes were a cute mix and provided us with the opportunity to switch up my daughter’s looks even though consistently, very often many of the items in the box don’t match. It’s hit or miss. Sometimes you can get a really cute outfit that will give you one option, and then everything else will just be random. The billing was always an issue and it consistently always took about 10 days to receive my boxes. If you can imagine being charged and then having to wait 10 days in the days of 48-hr shipping, not a good thing.

Then they changed the service to where you can go in an select your items. That was a weird shift IMO. Probably for the better but I think it just causes more delays in billing and processing. I had an inquiry about this, they told me I couldn’t switch some items becuase my box had already shipped, which I truly believed to not be the case because of the 10 day lag. In the end their customer service sucked. The rep was emailing me back in language that made it seem like she was talking to someone on the streets of NY rather than a high paying, loyal customer. In the end, I cancelled due to poor customer service and too much lag between billing and receipt. And the clothes were only alright. Much prefer to purchase from Target, JCPenney and others than give them my good money for mediocre, non-matching clothes and have to put up with ‘tude.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS BOX! It’s impossible to cancel, they will bill you for several months after… They have paused subscriptions for “inventory” reasons in 2T and 3T that I know of – their facebook page is FILLED with complaint after complaint. Their CEO and CO-FOUNDER, Sean Percival, left in May 2013, so maybe there are some internal issues that they are dealing with, best not to get your finances involved in whatever is going on there :( So sad, cuz this is a great idea – hope someone else picks up where they left off, they are surely not going to remain open if things continue like this

While I love the concept, out of the 2 boxes I got, there were probably 2 (out of 12!) items that were cute and followed what I said I wanted in the style profile. There were some really ugly stuff that I’m sure were leftovers they had to do something with. On top of it, shipping was incredibly slow. Don’t waste your money with Wittlebee. I’d rather order pieces I specifically want during online sales at Children’s Place or Gymboree or the like.

I’m confused. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year now, referred countless people to your service. Then things went crazy. last month, without notice, you cancelled my account. I never asked you to… you took it upon yourself to do it for me.

Okay, I know there was inventory issues, and we really didn’t need any more clothing anyway, so I was fine with the cancellation. Then yesterday… I get an email that my showroom is ready. On a cancelled account. So…. you took it upon yourselves, again, to now OPEN my closed account and then have the gall to charge me for it?

This family has stuck by you through month(s) long wait for boxes, poor quality clothes, and bad customer service. I just don’t get it.

I am very confused by your business practices, Wittlebee. I have sent an email requesting the box be cancelled, and the account be cancelled-again-and that any monies you have charged me be returned. I have yet to received a reply, and the email said I only had two days to complete my showroom. I sincerely hope this is fixed in record speed.

I have been a loyal customer of this company since the beginning. It was wonderful in the early days. They wanted to please you. Then sometime last last year or early this year the company sold out to people who don’t know how to run it. The quality of clothing has gone downhill. They buy cheap clothing, cut the tags our, and replace them with their own. You are no longer allowed to share what types of clothing you want or need. You just get to pick gender and size. They ran out of clothes for my boy so they canceled my membership. I put it on hold for a little while and I am going to get one box to determine if I keep going or not. Don’t subscribe. Your not missing anything and you will save money by not signing up.

I received two wittle bee boxes and was more than disappointed in both. I set my preferences to mostly dresses and skits and neutral tones. My first box contained bright pink leggings by a brand I had never heard of, gray wittle bee brand leggings (which developed a hole after the first wearing/washing (along a seam)), a threadless t-shirt, two Baby Nay t-shirts (which were very small size 2s that I didn’t bother putting my daughter in) and a cheap elastic headband. Oh and my box shipped nearly a month later that it was supposed to. Contacting customer service they said they were waiting for items that fit my preferences.

The second box, I changed my selections to up the size and not have the option of accessories. I received another threadless t-shirt, two pairs of wittle beed leggings in a size bigger than I had indicated that I wanted, and three pieces by Trish Scully (two shirts and a pair of pants).

I never once got a dress or skirt (which is what my daughter perfers to wear), 5 out 12 items were recognizable name brands. Two threadless t-shirts, which don’t get me wrong, I love threadless, but I don’t see them as fitting in with wittle bee’s sales pitch, and I’d much rather pick my own threadless designs and order from them (especially when they have sales).

I started getting these March 2013. My first box was great, but every box after that got worse. The price went up up to $45. The orders started taking forever to ship, and the showroom started having less option s and wern’t very good.

I subscribed to Wittlebee when my daughter was there months old, hoping to expand her wardrobe beyond the really available pink in stores. My first four boxes were AMAZING. I was showing the eight items off to anyone who would hold still long enough for me to do it. But then things went downhill. The clothes became less adorable…I started getting Wittlebee brand solids that were just plain cotton (onesies, leggings, shirts). The name brand stuff was fewer and further between. And then they moved to a new warehouse and customer service tanked. And shipping times increased. And the clothes stayed plain,.despite updating my style profile every single month to try and get something better.. I realized I was swapping five our of six items per box in the swap group and I’d had enough. And customer service was beyond useless, ignoring emails and refusing to help with long shipping waits. I got or and haven’t regretted that choice at all,although I do still think back on those early boxes with longing and wistfulness.

Don’t bother picking items, they’ll change them.
Don’t expect a response, you won’t get one.

If you like it when you order an item, but they change your order, don’t let you know, and send whatever items they want, by all means… become a subscriber. This has happened to me for the past 2 months. Sounds like this is a repeat problem.

If you like it when you send 4-5 emails, asking for help and finally for them to cancel your subscription, but don’t ever get a response, by all means… become a subscriber. This happened to me for the past 3 weeks. Sounds like this is a repeat problem, as well.

The product is decent, but their lack of service and responsiveness is appalling. I can understand a problem with their supply chain, but there’s no excuse for ignoring your customers. None. They’re dead in the water…

This used to be a great service but in the last few months have gone downhill -fast! They state they don’t have enough inventory so they put some people on hold, they have offered the same clothes the last six or so months. I was charged over a month a go for my last box and it still hasn’t been sent. I think they are having money issues and suspending accounts which really means they charge you to buy clothes to fill someone else’s order. Also and most important there is no phone number to call and get your account straightened out! Email is they only way they communicate and it has been over a week and a half since I sent my first email and still have not gotten a response. I am canceling my subscription because of the lack of communication to their loyal customers. I now have to get my credit card company involved to get my money back. Please don’t waste your time! I do not recommend this service. My first box was nice but my second including four shirts by AA, two were the same style but different colors as were the other two. Just wasn’t worth the cost.

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. They have charged me for 2 boxes. I have not received either. I have emailed twice with no response. I have called twice with the promise they would call me back to resolve it. They have not. I am extremely unhappy. Save yourself the trouble and skip this box.
