Juniper is designed to change the way we women deal with our periods.

I haven’t tried this but I like the idea. I just take issue with the cost ehen a box of tampons/pads is usually no more than $4, a bar of chocolate is no more than $2 and little midol packs are less than $2 a pieve..

Ok, now these subscription boxes are just getting out of hand! LOL Now they have tampax/tampon boxes! don’t get this sampler box AT ALL. What’s the difference than just buying a box of tampons? LOL it’s cheaper! I don’t know one friend of mine who doesn’t pre-buy their boxes of pads and tampons before their periods. And why is it just tampons? Just another gimmick box because companies know women who are addicted to shopping and subscription boxes will buy just about everything.

I am a big fan of Juniper Boxes. It so convenient to have the monthly necessities shipped to my door and the quality and quantity of the treats/samples make it well worth $28.

If you are looking for a nice way to pamper yourself every month, I definitely recommend Juniper. In addition to sending you tampons or pads, they also send you a variety of gourmet treats. You can check out my review and pictures here:

The Juniper box is an innovative subscription box that is designed to make a woman feel special every month with some goodies while also including the necessities that are not-so-fun. Everyone likes receiving packages, right?! I know I do. I think this box would be great for anyone who wants to spoil themselves a bit during that time of the month or all together avoid having to shop for feminine items.

I love this box!!! $28 seems well worth it. I never remember to buy tampons, pads or liners when I run out and of course I’m out when I need them. This keeps me stocked and I love the treats that come with the box! I have a sweet tooth and they really find the best snacks to stuff in their boxes. The packaging is always pretty, too!

Juniper box is amazing and every woman should be getting this box! We deserve to be pampered during this time of the month and Juniper definitely know how to pamper! The Presentation is awesome and they put a lot of work and effort into that, which I love. It just makes it more special. First, of all though I have to comment on what Debbie Downer said…Firstly, You should really go to the site and get accurate info before commenting! What is not to get about this box? I mean really… First of all no woman likes having to go to the store and get tampons, pads, etc… That’s why our husbands/boyfriends usually end up there like a lost pup scanning the never ending array of “women’s products” and guess what? THEY DON’T LIKE IT EITHER! With Juniper, you get your on “BFF” which handles everything for you. You take a short quiz which tells them what products you want ( the type of tampons you want, panty liners, midol etc… The time your “monthly visitor usually comes and things such as that, which only takes about 5 mins. ) They ship out your first box right away to make sure you get it before your next period. When you open your package there is a gold box, which includes your tampons. It is sealed and has your “BFF” phone number on it, the purpose of this is to keep it sealed until your period starts, when it starts you send a text to the number listed on the label….then they have the exact time when your period starts to make sure that your following boxes are shipped before your period begins. You will also find a reusable gold silk bag in your package, this includes several different size’s of panty liners as well as midol. and then everyone’s favorite part….Your goodie bag! This full of the best Artisan Chocolates, snacks, teas, and delicious honey sticks for your teas. The chocolates and snacks change every month but are always so amazing and unique…Not something your gonna find at the cornet store, drug store or wal-mart…I assure you! This box is a no-brainer…It’s genius and I can’t believe it’s took this long to come out. I have received 3-4 boxes now and I love them, I love not having to worry about going to the store for tampons and such anymore, I love all the amazing things in the goodie bag every month, I love being pampered !! I would highly recommend this to every woman out there. Sign up, after your first box I promise you will be hooked and will actually look forward to that “monthly visitor” because you know…when it’s time for that, it’s also time for Juniper!! Oh, I have to also mention the amazing customer service! The best around by far!

Juniper is a great way to treat yourself, or someone else, during your least favorite time of the month. You tell them what kind of products you use and when you typically need them, and once a month, you get a goody box.

I actually can’t review the menstrual products because I haven’t needed them yet. I will say that I appreciated that the Midol came in single-serving envelopes, making it easier to tuck into my purse. I think the included panty liners are an especially great idea because I am really bad at remembering to buy them.

But I think this service really shines when it comes to the selection of treats. They are high-end treats selected with obvious care. You will not get a Hershey bar from Juniper; you will get a small, probably artisan chocolate bar that is better than a larger amount of corporate chocolate. There are three or four little treats — not all chocolate, but I’m pretty sure chocolate is a theme here for obvious reasons. In two packages, in addition to chocolate, I got a big chunk of maple nut fudge; white chocolate-covered marshmallows; truffle-flavored popcorn; and candied almonds. Then there are three tea bags, one each of high-caffeine, low-caffeine and no-caffeine, and three honey sticks. (Full disclosure: I let my husband have the honey sticks because sweetened tea is not my thing. He said he liked that each had some kind of “kick.” I let him taste some of the other treats too, but only because I love him. Mineminemine!)

They are also beautifully packaged. If you’re worried about discretion, the menstrual products come in a satin pouch that you might keep jewelry in. The whole thing is on a bed of shiny shredded stuff and wrapped in tissue; I almost felt bad about unwrapping it. And Juniper founder Lynn includes a note with each package explaining why she chose each month’s treats. Not surprisingly, some of them are themed for the season, e.g., the white chocolate marshmallows included in December were peppermint-flavored and imprinted with pretty snowflakes.

No, it’s not the cheapest way to handle your period, but it’s not meant to be. It’s a treat for a time that is otherwise annoying. Think of it as a consolation prize for having a period to begin with. I think it would also make a good gift subscription for someone who just started her period and needs a discreet way to celebrate it. Or, ahem, someone who is not great at remembering to buy feminine hygiene products.

I got a free box, they had a limited choice of tampons, I use only pads but figured heck its free, might as well try it! Wish they had more choices, since I use really specific items. But the customer service was good, package arrived in time, and the food was good too. Nothing outstanding but all really nice, The price for what you get is really high. 20 tampons and some cookies and chocolate for $28?? Their info card seeed geared towards a teenager with remarks such as “We want you to be your effing self” I am a grown woman and really did not appreciate this unprofessional language in my box. Overall, it was a nice try but not for me.

i love, Love, LOVE this box!!!! I know that it’s a “first world problem” but not having to buy pads every month is so wonderful… I don’t use tampons, so maybe this isn’t a good value for you ladies who use those, but for me, a PADS USER, it is such a great deal to get just the right amount of daytime pads, pantyliners, and overnight pads in beautiful little satin bags that are discreet and re-useable, and in just the right amount. Plus, the Midol is a nice touch, I would never buy them for myself, but since they come in the box, I use them and LOVE them…THEN COMES THE PAMPERING PART! There’s always a theme and there’s always such great goodies – from salty to fudgy, the snacks are always things that I can’t just go to the store and get, they seem to be gourmet items for the most part – plus teas and honeys to go with them.. and sometimes a nice beauty item, like gloss or lotion… I love it!

I loved the Juniper box, I received for a total of 3 months. It went down hill when I never received the last box and my card was already charged. I have tried emailing them with no response, it’s like they fell off of the face of the earth. I’m disappointed because I loved Juniper.
