Crave box is retarded. It’s literally a box of crap delivered to your doorstep every month.

Crave box is okay. There’s definitely better services out there. It’s definitely fun to receive a box of stuff every month, the surprise is fantastic!

Every month is better than the last. I have tried 5 of various subscription services and so far CB is the only one with real variety and offers a sense of anticipation waiting for the next one. well done!

Cravebox is one of the newer subscription boxes. I think they have been doing extremely well. They are currently still in Beta, so do not have as many subscriptions available quite yet. I have gotten 2 Craveboxes so far and I enjoyed them both very much. Their hand-selected 4-5 products are all either full-size or deluxe sample size. The contents of the box are ALWAYS well over $10 worth. And really, $10 (which includes shipping too!) to try some new products every month is a steal! As another review said, they do get better every month. Also, every month, they have giveaways open to everyone– including non-subscribers. The Cravebox team takes feedback, inquiries, and concerns seriously and really listen to what their subscribers/potential subscribers want. They are always so super friendly and easy to communicate with and that is an important aspect in continuing with any company for me.

Completely disappointing. I cancelled this after one box. It’s a great box for people who want to spend $10 for items they can pick up at the grocery store….one of the boxes had a bottle of olive oil. Just not worth the money to me. There are plenty of other services that cost $10 a month that send really high-quality products: Cravebox is not it.

Cravebox is actually a very nice box. I don’t think all of the current subscribers are aware it’s not a beauty based box. I love that it has included fitness, cooking, stationary, laundry, high-end beauty items, even a magazine subscription. Keep in mind that Cravebox is also still in BETA. The testing phase. They want subscriber feedback and have been listening. I’ve been in since the very first box and while ot every items has made me rave I’ve been really happy with it and so far the value of the items included has far out-reached the $10 price tag. The one thing I don’t like is that the boxes at this point are arriving a few days into the month after they’re intended for. The really need to work on getting them out earlier in the month. I’d recommend this one more for mom-bloggers who would appreciate getting a bar of gourmet chocolate, a pedometer, or permanent markers alongside fancy (expensive) beauty products. I really have liked getting an ecclectic mix to try and use as review content for my blog.

I enjoy the exciting surprise factor of the Cravebox, but I feel as though its marketed towards a certain type of person and I haven’t been getting many things that I like or can even use :/ The best part of the last box? A set of permanent markers… Hoping it will get better.

I have tried three subscription boxes and CraveBox is the best. I have not received a product that I have not wanted to try yet and all have been ample samples or full size products. Excellent value for just $10. Customer service and shipping have been very good and the presentation is nicely done.

I’ve been a member of Cravebox since the start (and yes it’s still in Beta) and I have LOVED every box! Even if I couldn’t personally use every item, my family sure did benefit! This should *NOT* be in the “stay away” category. Save that for Birchbox and Look Bag

I have received 3 boxes from Cravebox, I am surprised some of the feedback on here is so negative. A. it is still in beta, so there will be improvements as they proceed, B. Someone said you could pick up any of this stuff at a grocery store? One box had a lotion that retails for $85. I would say that luxury alone was worth the $10 the entire box cost. Another box had a pedometor from S2h that you input your points on their website and you can receive rewards for keepin active. The retail for that alone was $25.

If you are looking for a beauty box, cravebox is not it. (although there are beauty items included in some boxes!) There are plenty of beauty boxes out there. I personally enjoy the variety of the different items in the cravebox, that I might not otherwise have been aware of. I would say, for me it is beyond worth the $10 I pay for it every month!

I have gotten a few of these now and have been happy with it and am continuing my subscription. $10 which includes shipping is quite a deal. I am thrilled that there is a variety because I don’t need to get the same type of products each month. I certainly don’t need a new lotion or lipstick every month. Having a variety of items has made it even more fun to open because you just never know what is going to be in there. The box is worth well over $10, generally there is at least one item in there that costs $25+, some closer to $100.

Very happy with my boxes thus far. There has been at least 1 high value item in each box!! I feel I’m definatly getting my money’s worth every month. I’d love to get my boxes earlier in the month but shipping isnt a factor. Box arrives perfect! No duplicate charges and the staff is always there to answer any questions I may have on various social media sites.

I have NOT been disappointed yet. I have received some full-sized, useful items which have been absolutely wonderful. Way to go Cravebox!!!

Also, many of the items included in the Cravebox were items I probably would have never contemplated purchasing. I probably would have thought the items were too cost prohibitive or the items simply were outside my scope of vision in my small town. Due to having an opportunity to try through Cravebox, I have appreciated and acquired more of some of the products originally sent to me to sample.

I actually really love Cravebox. Some people complain about the odd variety off stuff in it; but that’s why I love it! I like that it’s unique and not just beauty products. I already subscribe to a ton of beauty based boxes and a few natural/organic boxes, so I really like the variety. You never know what will be in it. I also enjoy the wide range of the item prices. Cravebox lets me try affordable items that I never knew about as well as more expensive items that I may or may not decide is worth the splurge.

I absolutely LOVE Cravebox! Other boxes I’d seen before joining the “Crave” were mostly beauty related – Cravebox is everything to make my life easier and more fun! Some prior reviews said they could buy the products at Walgreens – which I disagree with… yes, some of them you can… but definitely not all. Some of the face wash and lotions they have sent me have retailed at over $50 and aren’t available at Walgreens. Also – ThinkThin protein bars – something I’d NEVER have tried before, an amazing new treat to my diet, which I buy at Trader Joes. Cravebox isn’t about sampling new beauty products. It’s about bringing products into households that one might not typically purchase otherwise – opening our eyes to new things – and it’s like Christmas every month with the element of surprise in not knowing what to expect. I can’t wait till I can gift this subscription to my sister and sister-in-law. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cravebox! My only complaint (which it’s minimal and I’m sure being ironed out in Beta) is their inconsistent shipping… They will post on their facebook that the boxes are “going out sometime this week”, and often times it isn’t until the following week.

I LOVE Cravebox! I anxiously await it’s arrival each month — and read the “clues” with curiosity! I have been a member since the start. As others have said, they are still in “beta” mode and are working out the kinks. The customer service is outstanding…every comment on FB responded to in a timely fashion. I can’t wait for my March box to arrive.

I have been getting Craveboxes since the beginning as well. I love the fun excitement when I see the box on my doorstep. Always, wrapped in beautiful pink paper. Loads of fun, and cool stuff. You never know what you are going to get. And really, all this for $10, and that includes shipping? Who can’t afford to treat themselves once a month??!

I have been subscribing to Cravebox since the beginning & I love the variety in every box. Well worth the $10 + free shipping. Another one my favorite parts about opening a Cravebox is that, so far there is always a hidden gem at the bottom. An individually wrapped product(s) that is separate from the group but you always know that they saved the best for last. My favorite items so far are the Switch2Health S2H STEP Pedometer with Points ($24.95 at S2H.com), Downy Wrinkle Releaser, Mereadesso Beautiful Body Balm, ($54.00) & the Mereadesso Face + Neck Toning Gel ($120.00 at mereadesso.com) – Yes, you read that right, one-hundred-twenty-dollars. I also like that Cravebox teases you on Facebook & Twitter before you receive them as to what it may contain. Guessing what will be inside is half the fun.

I have gotten Cravebox since its inception. I have never been disappointed. I know it is still in BETA so the kinks are being worked out. It gets better each month. Their team is fast to respond to questions and concerns and are welcome to feedback at any time. I can’t wait for this to go open for all. It is better than the other subscription boxes I have tried. Better products and better cost. I want to send one to my DIL as a monthly surprise. All of the products are at least large samples most have been full size. For 10.00 a month it is a nice treat for my self. It is my gift to myself. I am always excited waiting for the mailman to bring my box.

I have been involved from the first box and I love it! The variety of items in the box is what makes it worth it to me. The new brands I would have never been exposed to, or the new items in an already favorite brand are always a wonderful surprise!!

After scrolling and seeing the reviews Imreally surprsd at all the ngativity!! I signed up when Cravebox first opened their 1st beta program and am soo glad I did. Not only was it NEW but it was a surprise to all us subscribers. The boxes are never the same, the products are not lil one use containers, they are name brand and some are very “unique”. Some subscrip programs are based around one theme the Cravebox is not it can be beauty to food and anything in between. Im a die-hard Cravebox-er!! If you havethe $10 to spend and love a surprise ever month this could put a smile on your face when the postman delivers.

I’ve received every Cravebox so far. I love the anticipation of receiving this box and I’m thrilled with the presentation and the fact that each product is full sized. This lets me get a great feel for each product. Value-wise, I have to say, I just don’t know how they can put this box together for $10 each month. I don’t know if it’ll change, but I’ve never paid postage. $10 is the total amount invested each month. I do have to mention the olive oil that has been mentioned in a derogatory way. Olive oil – good quality extra virgin olive oil is very expensive and hard to come by in American stores. I loved that bottle of Colavita EVOO like mad, and it’s defiitely not something that you can throw in your shopping cart at Walmart. Have I ever been disappointed in an item? Yes, by a nail polish pen. I got over it quickly.

I have gotten two Craveboxes so far, my first monthly one and a LE box. Both times I have been AMAZED by the products sent and the value for the box. A full sized sugar scrub that is heavenly to me!

The only small issue I have had is in my monthly box they sent chocolate… in this heat. It melted. But to make up for it when told of the situation they sent me another FULL SIZED sugar scrub so yay!

I am really looking forward to my next box!

I recieved my second Cravebox yesterday. I have to say it is well worth your $10 to subscribe to this box. You get mostly full sized samples and I always get a coupon for a free item..useful stuff. I’ve yet to find fault with them except shipping is a little slow. But they say it is so they can get the best samples to make awesome boxes!

Well, right now I am not so happy with the Cravebox service.

As of right now it is no longer monthly but every six weeks and no notice AT ALL was sent out to let people know.

The limited edition box service has released two boxes this month alone before regulare subscribers have gotten anything!

Waiting for a response from Cravebox which will determine if I continue this or not.

Well I hate to give a bad review to what started off as such a wonderful concept. I was an original Beta subscriber (found out about the service through Spespeaks) and I received a box once a month for about four months. After that the company made some internal changes which affected the overall program. The boxes switched to once every 6 weeks which we were not notified of and now they concentrate mostly on their ‘limited edition’ boxes – very limited and vague information on when/if subscriber boxes will go out.
Their customer service is great but it can’t make up for the fact that they give very conflicting and inconsistent information to subscribers.
As far as the items – I believe it is a decent value. Not fantastic value but definitely worth it. I am sticking it out in hopes that they work out the kinks in their company which is quickly alienating their loyal subscribers. If they can work through their problems, I believe that the program will go back to being worth it.

I am on my third limited edition box. I LOVE getting my box. Always worth more tan the $10.00. I just wish they would open more spots on the monthly subscription boxes.

I Just love CraveBox. I subscribe to many monthly boxes, but this is one of my favs ! I really love and use every single Item in the box. The limited addition boxes are also amazing and are worth much more then the $10.00 they charge. So out of all my box subscriptions I say Cravebox is for me and for everyone who wants more then just beauty samples every month !

Always a fun box to open. One of the best boxes was the first one with a pedometer and full year subscription to Prevention magazine.

Cravebox has been out of beta testing for several months now and many of these older reviews don’t fit its current state very well. Since the spring Cravebox has gone from being a $10 monthly subscription box to a bi-monthly one (at least that’s what the website currently shows because they sent a box out in June that was supposed to be the May box and we just received our September boxes, the only one since then!!! They’ve started a Limited Edition box program on the side. The LE boxes each have a theme and range from $11-$15 (so far). I do like that these themed boxes are not part of the normal subscription since their themes might not work for all subscribers. You opt in when they open the drawing for the LE boxes, fill out a short survey (which I assume is how they decide who gets them based on best-fit demographics), and they draw names. I have received two of the LE boxes (Summer Spruce Up and Back-to-School) and both were really well done. The monthly boxes have been very hit and miss. Some boxes have been really good with the value far exceding the cost but the latest was an overall disappointment to most subscribers. Personally, I thought it was an okay box but it wasn’t a value much over the $10 and included coupons which Cravebox considers to be counting toward the over $10 amount. I have to agree with other Cravers in saying I liked the boxes where the products were not all the same type (in the latest case it was all food) but still fit a theme. The best so far was the health themed box with a pedometer, olive oil, Prevention magazine subscription, and other products in the theme. The worst in my opinion was the very first box which featured pens, nail polish, and chocolate, but that was still the beta testing phase. Ultimately, there have been a LOT of problems with Cravebox. They’re very disorganized, their CS leaves something to be desired (one of my products never worked and I never got a response from my attempts to email them about it), and their shipping is ridiculously slow. But the fact is, they really are trying to be a good box and I respect that. At this point I will continue subscribing because I have liked the boxes even if a few products weren’t my thing (you have to expect that with ANY subscription box). I would recommend this subscription to women over men since many of the products are female-centric (though a lot are perfectly man friendly), it’s also a good box for moms with teens and tweens over younger kids because many of the products so far are ones you could give to them (ie. pens, lotion, energy drink powder) if you aren’t into them yourself. I really hope to see the problems with shipping and customer service improve and that the latest box’s general subscriber disappointment will be a one time thing.

This is an affordable box with some goodies and some not so goodies. They do take care of customers! For example, due to shipping issues, they gave sent out boxes and refunded money!

I love Cravebox.! I have been a member since their second box came out. One thing that I like is that it is reasonably priced.. They have monthly boxes and limited edition boxes. The boxes are beautifully presented. They cost between $10 and $15. With the limited edition boxes there is a lottery. I have used everything that has arrived in my Craveboxes/ After the boxes arrive they always have a twitter party. Their Twitter Parties are a blast with lots of cool prizes. I haven’t always won the drawing for the limited editon boxes but have adored the ones that I receive. They also are very responsive to customer posts. I highly recommend Cravebox.

This service promotes itself as a discovery box who sends out cool new items for consumers like me to discover, but instead what is sent out is ordinary grocery store items with no unique or unusual qualities. If you are ok with a grabbag of groceries pretty equal to the price that you pay for “shipping” then this box may save you a trip to the store if you are lucky enough to get things that you use. If you would prefer to do your own shopping but are looking for a way to experience new and different products that you may not have seen in the past, then you probably won’t find them here.
A search in youtube for past boxes will give you examples of different things that you could receive. I suggest taking a look to see if past boxes interest you.
The boxes aren’t expensive but they are very odd, including things such as regular ground coffee, olive oil, dishwasher additive, coffee syrup, trash bags and green beans all general products by well known companies.

I wanted to reiterate what Rhianna (above) mentioned, and that is that the current Cravebox program is not even close to what it was in the beginning. So a more accurate measure of this program will not be found by averaging all ratings, but only the most recent. The regular monthly boxes started slipping in quality. After 2 disappointing boxes in a row I cancelled this service. When nothing in the box is “crave-worthy” it makes more sense to save my money and splurge on something that I really do want and crave. I haven’t purchased any special-interest boxes, but I do know that they charge more for them than they did when Cravebox represented a monthly subscription and that you “apply” for a box that you’re interested in and then Cravebox chooses who gets the honor of purchasing them.

I got the Zataran Box & the Back to School Snacks Cravebox. I wasn’t too impressed with the Back to School Snacks Cravebox. I did like the juice, though my mailperson punctured the container when they tried to stuff it in my small mailbox. juice got on everything. Luckily it didn’t really ruin anything beyond use.
The Zataran Box was nice. I got 2 each full size versons of 5 products & mardi gra beads. I like the seasoning which i used right away. I’m not big on on red beans & rice mix but i passed it on to someone who will use it.
I do like the concept of not being tied to a monthly fee & only paying for what you want. I have two more boxes coming. This was my first introduction to subscription boxes. I will have to try others to do a true comparison

I can’t say enough good things about Cravebox! Their customer service is amazing and every box I have received has exceeded the value that I am charged! I will be with them forever! You will not regret giving them a chance! It is addicting!

I just got the Cooking Light Box which I paid $16 for. Not impressed at all. The large box contained two boxes of pasta, a can of soda, a single serve bag of chocolate pretzels, a single serve Belvita cookies, two small fruit strips and a package of gum. Even being generous, there is no way the contents are a good deal. I’m definitely not a fan.

Love love love Cravebox!! There customer service is out of this world. And there box value is usually double to triple what I pay for the box. I have gotten about 10 boxes total. There was one box that I was disappointed with and they refunded my money no questions asked. I am a loyal Cravebox customer!!!

I LOVE cravebox! I recommend to everyone I know and have even done a few reveal boxes on youtube! Not every box is high value but i get almost every box because A the value is always good, B months that the value is low are fewer than months where the value is much higher, and c I try products i might not have otherwise, and D they usually send fullsize products and often coupons for high value and even free or bogo as well! I have gotten about 15 boxes so far! one time the box was very bad (last nv) and they refunded the $12 i paid, and another time my box didn’t arrive and they sent a new one asap! customer service is fantastic! btw i live on a military instillation in Okinawa and I still get them fast and with no extra shipping charge!

I ordered the Cooking Light Craveboxes for Feb and April. I like subscription boxes as a way to not only learn about new products but mainly because they are usually a great value for the price. I didn’t find this to be the case with Cravebox. Also, when I received the box, the coupons were already expired. I emailed the customer support to get new coupons since I would not be able to use them. I never heard back.

Also, I was interested in another box (a “book club” type one). I didn’t end up ordering it, only to find that the book was being given away at an event I attended- the publisher must have just dumped the over supply of books! Overall- not a good value and poor customer support.
